Formation and tactics Deluded people ???

Do some of you guys seriously think that formation, tactics and morale have any input in your results I mean come on its just a simulation programme that a few seconds before the kick off the programme developers determine the result that's why they do not allow you to change things 5 mins before KO

So it's the game who decides even if you are playing with 100% health and morale in a basic 4-4-2 and quality 50.0 against a team playing with 80% health and stamina playing 4-4-2 and 40.0 quality if the game decides you are starting to run away with the title and you opponents have lost a few recently and they are starting to lose interest ( not login in so much ect ect ) then it's inevitable your going to lose that game they want to keep us all happy to get us all to purchase tokens

Notice how after a team stops login in say 10 days or so they lose every game you all think because there rubbish and there formation and tactics are wrong haha don't be silly its because the owners have realised they ain't getting no money from that team

But he clips the post and goes wide

Actually yes i do...there are so many variables created when formations vary between opponents that from my experience choosing the right tactics and formation definitely effects a games outcome...

Then why does bot robot stomp my ass? surely they can't be luring bots to buy tokens!

tactics make all the difference. There's a random factor in the game of course, but i'd rather get the formation and tactics right and push the percentages in my favour than just sit and hope.

For anyone who believes tactics are useless, there's a great game you should all try... its called Bingo. There's no skill involved and nothing you can do to influence the result and its therefore probably your thing...

Im not sure how tactics affect final result but i can tell by own experience that making changes during matches had positive effects. I guess players who arent marked (who are alone without oposition from another rival players) gain bonus or advantage when dices are rolling.example: if oponent hasnt dmc, your amc surely will have a brilliant rating.
I also consider important choose a tactic what let you put best players, but always with legal formation.

Of course we are all deluded, we are playing a computer footy manager game lol, I sit here with my tracksuit on, shouting at the screen as though I am the manager, then if I get to the CL final I will wear my suit, do my long walk from the door to the laptop for the game like I am at the old Wembley :), as for tactics, I think they have some say in what goes on.

deluded managers think it doesn't matter bcz they have no clues.. bcz they can't see it

Formations and tactics matters... play the 35t league and you will see it. There everybody on same quality, but some teams always struggle to defeat others. Only random engine??

I manage from my bed, my alarm goes off at 3 minutes before game time (usually 3am to 5am) and I login via IPhone to see the play by play action, as for attire, all naturale haha, yes I sleep naked!

It's just too much ****ing randomness.. Weaker managers..or should I say LAME ASS MANAGERS WINNING!! :D People with 2 or 3 chances on goal, 30% possession defeating good managers who had like 70 % possession, 20 shots and still they lose to a weaker fcking team :D

Could be that you know Jack Sh$t about tactics and Formations and that's why your team of misfits can't win any matches

The trouble with too many ops on here is that they look for every possible reason as to why there team lose against weaker teams, my advice would be to start looking in a mirror, then you will see the reason....

It's too easy to 'blame' the game engine, it's too easy to say the 'randomness' is working against you. Get real!

The game is a ****ing con end of

It's not realistic enough tactics mean nothing today my mate played is cup final he had full bonus five supporters other guy never turned up had no supporters and after 2 minutes got a player injured

My mate ended up drawing 1-1 and lost on penalties they both was playing straight forward 4-4-2
It is the biggest pile of **** ever that's why I have deleted the crap game if I want to play a management game I will buy a proper one like LMA atleast they don't con you to spend money like this **** company nordeus does

I don't give 2 ****s if you don't like what I say you all just stupid if you think the game is realistic

I can see what you mean about absolutely silly results, and i get angry too, but at the end of the day this is a forum for people who are currently enjoying the game.

We see 847385793 posts like yours every day slagging it off, just look at the vent thread.

We know what you're getting at, but we still want to play.

If you don't want to play, then don't, but putting your time and effort into making threads like this is pointless unless you're willing to put some constructive criticism together, instead of : this game is "*&%$^& (*&%&* &&%^" etc.etc.

I don't think any forum is designed just for happy members its obvious the developers read this so how else are unhappy customers who are spending money meant to get there point across I joined this forum to slag the game off I admit that but purely because I did enjoy the game had a successful team but was not happy with a few things so to get my point across I had no choice to use this forum

i love people who post 'my mate played 442 with 15% possession bonus and still didnt win' like 442 is the holy grail of formations or something. I think 442 sucks and i've probably played most of the more standard formations you can play in this game during my 6 months and i won't ever go near 442 again, i think its just too exploitable.

People moan loads when they cant beat inactive teams or guys who dont ever turn up to games, well playing a flat 442 isnt gonna get you too far playing against proper thinking managers who dont just have one way of playing. When you cant beat bots and play a system every decent manager knows how to exploit, you really do need to come up with plan B or start playing another game, so to sum up... tactics are important!

Lol you're an idiot who didn't even read what I wrote just likes insulting people since you're obviously butthurt and have daddy issues.. I didn't say I lose like this all the time, just that it happens a little too much and yes there's too much randomness.

I destroyed everything in my path, including the temporary 1st placed manager (a token buyer with all 6-7 stars), but in 3-4 matches, lost or played a draw against weaker managers. They might have had weaker teams, stronger teams, or the same as mine, but were weaker managers since I had 60-70% possession, 3x more shots on goal, and alot of chances, while they had like 1 or 2 attacks in the entire game, scored and took off with 3 points. Sure, **** happens, but not this often lol.. I lose 1st place every season like this, in the last few matches.

very impressive but in half an hour i'm hoping to have chalked up my 5th league/CL double in a row. Sadly my opponent also plays the 451V regularly so needless to say the flat 442 will not be deployed tonight :P

Thanks, I've done ok so far and I would hope to get that sort of record going - sadly only a cup double this year though, first time I didn't dominate the league

For the record, I actually beat a higher level and better Q team playing 451V with my 4-4-2 (forward arrows on wide midfielders, attack on both flanks, attacking, mixed, zonal, own half)

Not that simple, it's pretty random even for big spenders, go check out the showcase and you'll find people spending loads who don't win everything. They are the equivalents of Citeh in the CL, or QPR spending millions and going down

But at the end of the day it must be based on a logarithm, and factors like tactics, formations, fitness, morale etc should have an influence on how your games pan out
