I beat Fenerbahce today and then later on I beat fenerbahce. If I got a token for every time I see a team called "fenerbahce" "galatasaray" or any other european top team, id have a team full of 9*'s.

A Lot of changes to the team as they have already qualified, the first goal arrives after 15mins from Tihamer direct from a free kick, on 23mins another free kick but this time crossed by Tihamer and headed in by Velazquez, on 28mins Holt hits one from long distance and it's 3, On the stroke of half time Da Cunha takes the free kick and makes it 4. At the start of the second half Tataj comes on for Summers, On 70min Da Cunha rifles on number 5, On 75mins Velazquez with a crashing drive makes it 6, on 89mins Tataj with a square pass to Holt for number 7.

Not good. Inconsistent. Scrappy performances and injuries. Currently languishing in 6th place. Cup and CL are going good though.

Short update: We managed to beat the groupleader ""FC Gitano" with 3 - 0 in the 6th and final round in group G. The win means that we end up as the groupwinners and will face the Cameroonian "something something United" from group H.

Also, we signed a DR/DMR scout player (7SKP from 7*) today. The only player and position we need to fulfil is a MR, hopefully Mr.Scout will provide us one.

LEAGUE: Round 11. LUIGI FC (78.5) v LONDON CITY (85.0)

A Jacob Wilkinson hat-trick gave us a comfortable lunchtime win in Lithuania. As our opponents are rock bottom, we changed our team around and gave some of our backups a starting role. Homer Simpson swung over a corner for Wilkinson to head home the opener just after the half hour. Two minutes later, Wayne Dixon laid on another for Wilkinson. The only surprise was that it took us so long to add to the tally. Eventually the Dixon / Wilkinson duo combined again near the end, and Wilkinson claimed the match ball, with his third strike.

CITY: Miklosko, Jones, Haller, Watts, Rabus, Andersson, Santos (Rogie), Simpson, Brown, Wilkinson, Dixon.


Tomorrow we play at home to JUVE FC, who are currently 2nd (as we lay 3rd).

Surprisingly a Turkish opponent in CL decided to hipe his team up a good bit, going from Q48 of the first matches to the actual Q54. I guess he had some good scouts coming in (my list is stuck to 29 yo since day3). Looks like there will be 2-3 worthy opponents this season too.

Team Talk: We had already qualified as group winners but Chainat join us as runners up after they scored 2 late goals to beat us.

Yay! Qualified for Champions League knock outs but if I get to the quarters I will likely be pitted against one of my T11 friends but one of my biggest rivals (knocked me out of the cup on away last season).

It will also be fun!
