another very tough battle and another victory .. today's league game was the third meeting between our teams this season...after 2 very tight games in the Cup( 2:2 home draw and 1:0 away win) I just could not expect anything else than another hard match...luckily've won and I'm happy to have not lost any points in the league yet(5 wins and just 1 goal conceded).Now we are waiting for the Champions League game and hope that we will also keep our form in this competition(2 games and 2 wins)

Yeah, I wouldn't be concerned about this result... But there are occasions when you feel that playing an understrength team is a good idea when playing 2 competitive fixtures in a day, League is most important and you already had 2 wins in the group, so I think you were right to play understrength, I played understrength in my League game today because I faced an abandoned team and the match in the CL was more significant to concerntrate on this evening instead since I lost my opening group game.Quote:

I decided to name an unusual attacking formation in this game against the 4-4-2 classic and it worked quite well I felt, Always attacking and moving the ball well against an opponent we last played against that resulted in a 5-1 win for us in a CL final some seasons ago... Obviously with our poor start in the group stage and the amount of NGE trolling going on at the minute I was quite uneasy about things but we played really well this evening... It did take 43 minutes for us to grab the lead with a Pietropaolo run past the defence and setting up for our top scorer Miku to tap in for another goal this season, the second half we dominated and always gave ourselves chances to score from all angles... Stuart made it 2-0 on 51 minutes with a 25 meters shot... Pietropaolo continued to create things and take shots on goal before eventually he was brought down in the area for a penalty in which he despatched by sending the keeper the wrong way and that was game over.

Team Talk: That result has eased the doubts of an early exit and we now currently sit as group leaders before Chainat play against Radri this evening, We host GALATASARAY in the return game in 2 days time but we will be going into friendlies mode tomorrow since we don't have a cup fixture tomorrow after being eliminated yesterday.

Well... The July Fourth Squad Presentation for this season is long overdue... due to buying further tokens and continously power training my players this season. But it should be ready by this time tomorrow.

Top of the table clash right here so the big guns were back, Moreau puts the home side 1 up after going 1 one 1 with the keeper after 20mins and Hervias power drives no 2 after 26mins but on 39mins Chatzigryparis pulls one back and we have a game on our hands and that is how it stands at half time. On 73min the home manager makes a tactical decision and withdraws Parr and brings on Burbur and it is his extra quality which makes the difference as on 80mins it is his corner that Moreau heads in to make the match safe.

Our 100% start to the league season came to an abrupt end in Bosnia today, as we gave away a lead and lost to the 12th placed team. It started so well and Jack Daniels gave us the lead, which we held until the halftime break. But things fell apart after the resumption and Celzi soon equalised through Alexandr Nersesyan, just after the hour. It looked like we could hold on to a point, but Yves Traore dashed our hopes when he scored the winner, near the end. Fortunately, the result didn't cost us too much and we remain top, if only by a 1 goal difference.
CITY: Miklosko, Jones, Fiksdal, Whyte, Watts, Fucillo, Santos (Rogie), Duggan, Daniels, Dixon, Wilkinson.
