Breaking News: Giant Killing.

Royal Rumble Cup, Quarter Finals, First Leg

We can't certainly say that we were penalized in this match, but, honestly talking, this was a massacre. Practically we spent 30 minutes in the whole match having a good advantage on pressure and possession, and 60' of total domination against the strongest opponents remaining in the competition.

For starters, our 3-5-2 V resulted being overwhelming since the first minute. High pressure, many occasions, at the point we had after few minutes 7 shoots/5 on targets VS their 0/0. Ofc, this was a well planned troll by the engine, as the first action meant Woodcock breaking through our defense line and beating our keeper despite all our starting efforts. Right after the opponent set up a 4 back with a DMR for the DR, 1 DMC, 3 AMS and 2 STs. We answered putting in Banner as DML and moving Blaze on the right, with a 3-2-2-1-2 which resulted in a incredible table-turning which saw us equalizing with Hutton, served by Wayne who broke through the defense, then four minutes later with Wayne himself, this time egoist, and again four minutes later Altun receiveing from Tenma, giving us a 3-1 lead at the first half's end.

In the second half our opponent got a ST our for a second MC, going for the 4-2mc-3am-1 formation. We paid them back by getting in Flanagan (DC) for Banner (DML) just after 22 mins of his match reorganizing on the 4-1-2-1-2 ND; again, we were right in the choiche as we started dominating and playing them like they were some last place's league's team. In that very moment, when we almost scored twice more, the second action from them in the whole match saw K.Allofs, literally, "tried with a spectacular long-range shot" which OFC pierced us for the second time making it 3-2. Again, we were receiving so little payment for so much effort, and we were slowly losing condition and the pace of the match, We got Hutton out (completely exahusted) and reset a 4-5-1 V. Just when we were about to wait the troll, Blaze broke through a counter and gave us a VITAL 4th goal ending it on 4-2 for us. We also had 2 more chanches in the last 3 minutes with again counters, but their keeper saved them twice in corner.

We are very happy with the result, despite we know perfectly that the second leng might end up in a solid defeat and kick us out of the cup again after such a good performance VS way stronger teams. Koln isn't new to table-turnings but we'll do our best. LAst season we had a 1-1 away with William Asset, so the situation looks at least brighter.
