Then you could be on a "bad server". The player you bought is probably a low 2/3* U21 player some manager a lvl or two above you put on the auctions.

Always by the "server generated" ones, they are the best.

Log on at 4/5am GMT - the youths who are listed at that time are usually server generated. If you are on FB you can check the team that the player is on and that might help you guess. I play on iOS mainly so I don't get that option, but that strategy works fine for me

Thx for the advice. My next match is in the next 20 mins. Gonna put him in the first 11 to see how much exp he'll gain then decide whether to keep him or sell him LOL.
