Plus the fixture pile up and more chance of injuries etc, so glad this season Knocked out of cup 1st round !!!!

Wouldn't necessarily be a fixture pile-up since its a losers tournament for those who didn't get in the CL.

Of course. It shouldn't be difficult enough for players to qualify for the CL in almost any given league? Therefore I don't think a "Europa League" style competition is really needed.

Nearly every pc Football management game have reserve sides and youth sides ... its just the natural progression for any team to develop outside of the main 22.

I really think that this competition could serve for 5,6, and 7th place. At least they can play an international competition.
And I prefer with this formula as it stands not you?

And probably the best team on my server/level... but a Europa League competition? I don't think its really needed, think about it... how many would actually want to win that competition, not for me... If I'm going to be in the CL then I will probably tank.
