Perfect Tactics vs Invictus FC

Don't let the quality gap put you off. We are the better team but Invictus FC keep winning games and have the potential to cause a lot of problems against us. It is the typical 1st vs 2nd match and should the title go to the final day when we meet, this match is just as important. We are currently 6 points clear of 2nd place and a win here would put some daylight between 2nd place. However there are 3 teams currently on the same amount of points so dropping points here would make us uncomfortable. Our opponents uses the 4-3N-2W-1 and the 3W-5-2v formations which means we have to be careful in what setup we use as the butterfly is weak to one and strong against another. Our opponents also will have power support from 4 people (possibly his alts) whereas we have at least 2 supporters. The imbalance in possession bonus means we have a tough game on our hands, especially when we have not played our best in most of our matches this season. We must avoid defeat here.. a draw wouldn't be too bad but a win would take most of the pressure off.

Our opponents never threatened until the 2nd half but we managed to keep them at bay. We looked the better team but just couldn't put away our chances. Invictus almost scored in the 80th minute but luck was on our side and our goalkeeper saved from the double corner. This is another example of us not playing well this season and it has affected us in the wrong game. Our lead will be cut short to 4 points later and at the half way point in the league, you can sense the tension. It has not been a good season for us and we still have to play Invictus FC and NorthTiger FC away. They held us to draws at home and playing away would be an even more difficult task.
