I thought it was the opposite... butterfly owns 4-4-2? Or it's supposed to...

Don't know for sure, but I always tend to get beat by a 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 (flat,v/nd or wd) formation when using the butterfly. Believe JF wrote it down in his counter-formations guide as well.

I've been using 3N-4-1-2 vs 4-4-2 recently since near the end of last season and I haven't lost or drew since.

It's hard to say, but as JF said: the 3N-4-1-2 could work. I used the 3W-5-2 and 3W-1-3W-2-1 and got mixed result, sometimes I could win by +3/4 goals and sometimes lose by a goal margin. Also formations that I used before as counter, don't work that well anymore. The result have become way to random.

I believe the more players you have in the middle - the greater % you will win.

I was using 3N-1-4-2 last season and always won but league comp were not up to much, I might try out July's one though as behind in cup so can't piss about!

I was just thinking, Your probably rarely going to play a game that uses an ML/MR anyways, I'm just wondering would it be worth playing Nazzy OOP?

I could.. One player won't make much different would it? Petersen Jr as winger, Petesren as AMC then Shlimazl and one of my reserves as a striker

Believe me it's not worth buying a single player and think it will do any difference - if 10x of you're 7/8* can't beat a team with 10x 4/5* players, then what would a single ML make difference?

It wasn't just you're "time" to win today, that's all. The sooner you face it, the easier it will be. I had (still have) one of the best teams on my server - but still I get knock-out by weaker teams without their manager being present. How wierd is that? Sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow, then go upstream against it.

Ps. I didn't start a new server with a new team without a reason - it has it's reasons
