League Round 9 - Shooting Boots Missing for Torres?
    AEPRE FC 7-0 ANHGJ FC

Fernando Torres being shouted by the manager "All those 5 shots goes wide? WTF are you doing Fernando!" when he enters the dressing room. However, Fernando Torres managed 4 assists today. BTW, it is a very great performance from AEPRE FC ensures another 7-0 win this season. Callum McManaman starts to outclass Torres in term of goalscoring by scoring 2 goals from corner, and a free-kick. This ensures that the hero that puts AEPRE FC into the Round of 16 of the RR Cup still in the form.

    Formations
    AEPRE FC 4-2-2-2 Hexagon, 40' 3W-1-4-1-1, 46' 3W-1-5-1
ANHGJ FC 4-4-2 Classic (illegalized due to GK)
    Goalscorers Kovacevic 27' 62' Lamb 36' Andersson 65' McManaman 67' 80' Terry 81'
NGE Man of the Match Andersson (8)-1pt

    League, round 9

    Perfect Tactics 2-1 Egen FC

Perfect Tactics: 71.3, butterfly | Egen FC: 53.6, 4-4-2 classic

Another close one and this is becoming a bit of a habit right now... scraping the wins that we need. We were up against a team on form, they had won 6 matches in a row and beating them may not have been the easiest task. However, we had 4 supporters today from our friends and it helped a lot since our opponent was watching. We took the advantage through Nascimento who had been missing all week but found the net at the crucial point, giving us a much needed lead after some good chances were squandered. We continued to press for another goal but out of nowhere Egen FC equalised through Kacem's long range strike. Story of our season.... We didn't bother changing formation as it would probably work against us and it was a good thing we didn't, we had more of the ball but just couldn't get past them. We took the lead from a corner and Magill getting the all important goal. It was then Egen's FC to press and from a free kick that went off the bar, we knew they were going for it... There was a corner to Egen FC in the 90th minute and there was anxiety all over the stadium. A hand ball was given against Egen FC, fortunately... and we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

    Goals: Nascimento (24'), Kacem (44'), Magill (57')
    MOTM:Magill

Your becoming like our lot... Tend to always to scrap out the games, always feel that we should be scoring a goal a game more on average.

Troll Mourinho will always be around, we just got to be wary of this fact on every time our teams play.

LEAGUE ROUND 9 - NINE IN A LINE

    July Fourth 5-0 Pistol Rovers

    July Fourth 131.2 4-4-1-1 1st half, 3N-4-1-2 2nd half - Pistol Rovers 123.2 4-2-2-2 Hexagon

July Fourth faced a Pistol Rovers team who themselves are challenging for the top 4 this season in what will clearly be a battle for 4th in the table for all the other teams since Ourselves,Batigo United and GZIRAUTDMALTA are going to pull away from the rest of the field in the title race but for now July Fourth are concentrating on their game rather than worrying about other teams in the league and having a strong team is helping us... An early chance for Miku was blocked before Papaleo broke clear and struck it hard past the keeper to give us the lead, Watson crossed in to the box midway through the first half and found Papaleo who got up and headered it over the keeper for 2-0. Ramirez and Childs did a bit of defending in the remainder of the first half, we threw on Pietropaolo for support for Papaleo in the second half to hopefully get Papaleo the hatrick but that never materialised as Papaleo would rather try and supply Pietropaolo instead. Watson found Beckett in the area and he struck it past the keeper for 3-0, It was 4-0 when Papaleo doing the hard work squared off for Ramirez instead of trying to chip the goalie and Ramirez knocked it in for an easy goal, Petersen's corner for Calavicci header for our 5th of the game. Afterwards it was more defending for us to do as Pistol Rovers searched for a consolation goal but we held firm to keep the clean sheet.

    Goals: Papaleo (10,28) Beckett (55) Ramirez (66) Calavicci (70) MOTM: Papaleo - 1pt
    Manager Points: Papaleo 3,Calavicci 2,Watson 1
    Top 5 Standings: Beckett 19,Petersen 14,Calavicci 11,Watson 11,Ramirez 10.

Team Talk: A delightful performance for July Fourth for much of this game as we took our chances well and won by a good margin over a decent Pistol Rovers team. The new Papaleo seems to be more effective when played as a lone striker rather than partnered.
