Transfers make team unhappy

The game isn't complicated enough so that "unhappiness after a transfer" becomes a contributing factor to team performance.

I sell players all the time to profit and it doesn't change anything, so it's probably just coincidence or just being unlucky

some players seem to drag the team down, for me, I try to train them a couple days before starting them. I have sold a couple guys that seem to bring the whole teams morale down.

Im only on my 4 season and that happen to me too.
All my new young player normally do 5-6 first couple games but after a few games they start do better.
I normaly try to keep my old players for a few games and have my new ones like subs after a few games i sell the old ones.

try to change his position to another side and try play them with other players.
for example: you have 3 players MC (A,B,C) and when you try A & B, A have bad rating so try B & A or A & C...
i had the same problem and now i dont have...
sometimes i give blue arrow on MC and he get rating 8, the next match without arrow and he get 5...
so try everything what you can and good luck

hey I had similar problem, I sell my captain to other team and replace with new young 5 star players, but the results are bad.. this is strange, 5 star players but their performance are below 6

mine seems to have the opposite effect to the OP, every outfield player ive bought has scored on the debut, and team responds well to the new signing.

Well the curse continues for me and the recruit gets another 4 on his latest match. UGH!!

It could be your play style. For example, the central MC usually receives low rating when playing down the flanks.
