Do you go to level 2 even if you don't get promoted? And how longs the break before the next season starts ?

You go to level 2 if you finish in the top 7, you have Champions League if you finish in the top 4. There's no break, right after day 28 of this season is day 1 of the next season, but the league only starts on day 3 of the new season. On day 1 and 2, you have your first Cup tie, and maybe a CL match, I don't quite remember that bit.

Champions League matches begin on Day 3, being every other day (odd number days) until you get to the final on day 27.
