You will go to level 2, you will have CL (if you finish in first 4 teams) and CUP.

You stay on the same level if you don't finish in the top 7.

You go to level 2 if you finish in the top 7, you have Champions League if you finish in the top 4. There's no break, right after day 28 of this season is day 1 of the next season, but the league only starts on day 3 of the new season. On day 1 and 2, you have your first Cup tie, and maybe a CL match, I don't quite remember that bit.

Also if you win promotion to the next level, all your players lose a star each of quality, although the numeric value is still the same.

Champions League matches begin on Day 3, being every other day (odd number days) until you get to the final on day 27.

Players also age at the end of a season, so all your entire team will be 1 year older.

Yes, cup preliminaries, Day 1 and Day 2, will be pleased to get those games out the way, It will be like Level 14 vs Level 2.
