it depends on your server i think. i've never been drawn against teams which is 2 levels above me. so all teams in my cup competition only has two levels difference at most. my cup level is 3. i should have won this competition easier, but i ALWAYS get some crazy token buyer teams in cup (also champions btw) and always get eliminated by them. that's why for two times in a row i only reach 3rd place..
go check your cup level. i think the higher the cup level the higher also the level difference between participants and hence your probability to meet far superior or far inferior team is higher
and if your cup level is high, you'll get good auction list players and good competition income. players on my auction list are all craps.. once there's good player on it, there'll be a bidding war..
Are there any differences related to sponsorship.
I'm Level 1 and will be Level 2 next season. The actual season contract value is 600k, what about next season?

I had bad start, but im 4th now in my league, and ill have a match against the 3rd. If i finish this season as number 1, what does that mean? Besides the level up and players gettin a year older?
If a players age increase by 1 year what % does the players value decrease?

you'll get the highest competition income if you finish 1st. also next season, you will get relatively easy opponents in group stage.
i think it depends on the actual age of your player. usually the player's value doesn't change too much for older player. but i dunno for sure about the actual percentages..
