Possession slightly in our favor and we had slightly more shots on target but noting much to shout about, on 19mins Sanchez side steps his marker, skips past a couple of challenges and takes it down and shoots to give the away side the lead, after making a few more chances which we could not convert we head in to the break 1 up, into the second half they put us under so much pressure but both sides defended well especially Fernandez and we could not add to our lead on the counter.

Team Talk:We tried a new formation against 4-4-2 but not convincing, started off well but came under real threat in the second half but at least we won I guess, also our influential captain was suspended and we got a clean sheet in his absence so I will take that.

After my league game I only got 2 skill points from 2 players, just like playing a friendly!

We crushed 2nd place to move 8 points clear for the time being but could be reduced to 7 later. We thought this would be a tough match but it wasn't and in fact it was simply a walk in the park. Zenzizenzike and Shlimazl were deadly today and combined well for the first goal with Zenzizenzike getting the final touch. Shlimazl then got one for himself from a 1 vs 1 position to double our lead inside the first half hour. Soon it was 0-3 and Suparman rifled in a free kick before a 2nd goal from Zenzizenzike, again set up by Shlimazl for a 0-4 half time lead. Esi's only real chance of the game resulted in a goal and from a corner Uzunklaoglu scored for a mere consolation. But we hit back and Shlimazl made it 1-5 from a 1 vs 1 position and then 18 minutes later setting up Zenzizenzike for 1-6 and his hat trick complete. This was the perfect time for Petersen to get some game time and set up Warmwater from a corner for 1-7 and this would be our highest win of the season... Against a 2nd placed team.

Maybe tonight's match aganist NEVES 7, but however there will be a new format next season...

We play Maxim FC in the c/l tomorrow who are the best side in the comp, I can't really see us beating them but we will try, they play the 4-4-2ND now I normally use 3N-5-2V - in the last round I won & lost using this formation so does anybody know of any other formations I might be able to try? I have heard 3N-1-4-2, 4-5-1V and 4-1-3N-2 are possible options!
