Balkan Boyz management presented their final squad for season 9 in front of 200,000 over joyed fans at the newly built -BALKAN ARENA- this morning. Players such as: Asmir Begović (Stoke City), Senad Lulić (Lazio), Alexander Kolarov (Man.City) Nemanja Vidić (Man.Utd), Matija Nastasić (Man.City), Taulant Xhaka (FC Basel), Darijo Srna (Shakhtar Donetsk), Mateo Kovačić (Inter), Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Sanjin Prcić (Sochaux), Izet Hajrović (Grasshopper Club Zürich,), Adnan Januzaj (Man.Utd), Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern), Adem Ljajić (Fiorentina), Miroslav Stevanović (Elche), Ivan Rakitić (Sevilla), Miralem Pjanić (Roma), Lorik Cana (Lazio), Semirinho Jr (Fictional), Mario Mandžukić (Bayern), Stevan Jovetić and Edin Džeko (Man.City) are the names and figures that will be wearing the Balkan Boyz jersey for the next 3 seasons.

Manager Ljepoje (Senior) has nominated Nemanja Vidić as 1th team C (captian), Asmir Begović as second. Edin Džeko, Stevan Jovetić, Semirinho Jr, Miralem Pjanić, Sanjin Prcić and Mario Mandžukić as FK,PK and CK takers.

In a comparison from the squad from previous seasons (5 - 7), Balkan Boyz are clearly weaker and with a overall quality rate of 61,7. But despite that, Manager Ljepoje (Senior) believes that his team will have a good chance and stand the competition in the League and hopefully in the CUP as well. "Overall, I’m more then satisfied with the squad for this season. We have clearly benefited from tanking and not participating in the league competition the last two seasons. Some of the players have developed and grown in quality and strenght as well. I’m also quite pleased with the positions that we’ve got. Also, it will be a delight to get back on the saddle after 2 seasons of absence, I believe many have missed Balkan Boyz, both on the domestic and International arena. Finally we are back!".

Balkan Boyz will play the Portuguese "Bocaboca FC" (lvl9) at home tonight (23.34CET) as the T11 CUP prelims kickoff. On a first view, the chances of beating "Bocaboca FC" and getting to next round are 60% in favour for Balkan Boyz!

Not a great showing and not too many shots on target, we were undone on the 20 minute mark when we failed to deal with a cross that was headed in, second half I changed formation and we looked a bit more lively but we could not get a goal as they just seemed so strong at the back.

Introduction, flashback and upcoming expectations .......


My first two weeks at Balkan United was quite interesting and fun, mostly since I was on a new server and back at lvl 1, discovering T11 from the beginning. I started off with a quite poor squad the first 5 or 6 days, but managed to get a couple of 30yr olds and many free agents a week later. Later on they were sold and I decided to buy a couple of youths. I believe we had the best lvl 1 squad at that moment, mostly of them were around 18-19 yrs old and I enjoyed coaching them. We played good and attractive football, mostly the 4-3-3 module. Unfortunately many of them were sold, but 4 of them were spared and are re-joining me at lvl 2: Nikolay Iliyanov (C), Ignacio Baron, Regivaldo Marques Soares and Edilson Teles de Castro.

As the season came to it's end, we managed to win a double and took two trophies: League and CUP. We had quite fun and enjoyed playing against Kanarya SK (Turkey), Balaz Utd (Italy) and TIM FC (Slovenia). These were the 3 main teams and opposition that were our biggest rivals and opposition for the League trophy. Kanarya SK and Balaz Utd consisted with 5-6* players, while TIM FC of 3-4* players. So it was a little bit tough, but I believe my experience from coaching Balkan Boyz and tactical skills was far better then the opposition.

My expectations for the upcoming season is to continue with the good work at Balkan United and enjoy coaching this team. Our goal is to defend the League trophy, win our CL group and the CL trophy. We also hope to be able to play in the T11 CUP final this season as well. With the investments and newly signings we made, I believe our chances are quite high!
