DARIM 3-4 LONDON CITY
[SIZE=3Today's match in Montenegro was a strange affair, to say the least. City took control at the start, and three goals in a ten minute spell between the 13th and 23rd minutes, put us in a strong position at halftime. Homer Simpson's solo effort, opened the scoring. This was soon followed by a brace from Wayne Dixon, the first a volley from a cross by Chris Pigott, and the second saw a clinical finish after put through by Jack Daniels. The first half also saw bookings for Simpson and Sani Negedu. After the break however, things turned around. Darim got two goals back fairly quickly, and then on 71', Simpson tripped an attacker and collected his second yellow, to reduce us to ten players. The home side netted from the resultant free kick, to level at 3-3. From then on, things got tense for us, until with ten minutes left, Greg Fucillo made some space for himself, and fired our winner. Wayne Dixon deservedly won, man of the match. The win leaves us 5th, with 9 points, and still just three behind the leaders.
Tomorrow we are hoping to break our pointless duck at home, when we entertain 9th place, Juve FC.
