It would be an illegal formation.
Currently playing level 8 (season 8)
The league:
1st place level 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
The Champions league:
1st place level 2,3,4,5,6 - 2nd place level 7
The cup:
1/4 final level 3
Don't think it would be an illegal formation, it would be just that the player in goal would probably get a lower rating as its not his natural position. As long as the team line up in a legal formation, it does not matter if the players are in their correct positions to make it legal.

No idea why you would do that, but playing someone else as GK should not make illegal formation.
Probably because he does not have a GK. Only logical explanation

not it is not .. i do it all the time when he get injured and never had any penalties in possession, I actually kept clean sheet in all of those matches and dominated the match.. it happened to me last time 3 days agoOriginally Posted by influenze

If you have the money for a GK just buy one, it's just stupid to place a MC or whatever as a GK
