Going into the game in 2nd, we needed a win to regain top spot. Silva started off the scoring with a tap in after an unselfish pass from Ghidia. It was a quiet first half and there was always a worry of losing the lead at 1-0. Finally we got our second in the 63rd minute when Suarez was put through on goal and finished it for 2-0. The 3rd goal came a bit later from a nice strike by Yedek. A below par performance by our standards but we go top of the table.

Trinity FC, on course to cause a big upset after their 2-1 win in the first leg, were robbed in the Cup today as Mutlu was sent off after 60 minutes despite being substituted by the manager shortly before the hour mark. The referee showed clear bias to the home side as the visitors were shown four yellow cards despite playing exactly the same way they did in their home leg. Grigalevicius scored in the 28th and 44th minutes with fine solo efforts to put the tie firmly in UKS Unitra's favour, but Bu set up Vallejo in the 87th minute to take it to extra time. Unitra rightback Vasek scored the winner in extra time, in the 112th minute.

Tim Sherwood today joined Ravers from Norwich Chity in a 6.5m deal which will se him form a central MF partnership with legend Tugay.

The signing was made early morning but 'Big Steve' left him on the bench having only done a light training session, he is expected to make his debut later today.

The cup match got off to a slow start, these 1* wonders put up some fight for just over 25 minutes, when Kissi broke free so score the first of three, Jason Wilcox netting twice from free kicks following bookings and Cid getting the 6th.
No injuries or cards was a big bonus as it was clear from the start the tactics played were to lame the home side.

In to the hat for the serious stuff with no goals conceded so far.
As a note last seasons losing finalist is also in the hat.
