i had an affair with the referee's wife and he took his revenge. 2 penalties (thank god the second was saved from my gk), red card to my best defender and 2 yellows to other 2 scouts who are going to miss the second leg. the last minute goal from my side saved the day but the fact that i am gona miss 3 of my best players makes this years treble a difficult task.

very tight CL 1st leg over in Turkey, bit of cat and mouse leading up to the game, formation after formation countered by my opponent in the ned I think he confused himself so much he ended out with players out of position in at least three places, he subbed one immediately and left on at AMC, who recorded a 4 for the game.
Took a while to get going, 74 minutes to get the break through when Cid headed home a Douglas free kick from deep and there is ended 0-1.
This game reminded me so much of my 1st leg cup match that was followed by the first defeat of the season and my exit.
Just had to check the stats, wish I hadn't, it was like looking in a mirror, is history about to repeat itself twice in the same season, I have a feeling it is.
Going out of the cup was bad enough, failing to make the final of the CL, well gutted! is not the word and will leave the club with a lot of very deep thinking to do as to it's future.
The other top ranked club in the CL, AC Roma had a comfortable 5-1 win, looks like he'll make the semis.

Both teams waiting right now for the referees to enter the pitch for Leg 1 Quarterfinal in CL, starting in 1 Minute. After the glorius win aigainst our runner up by 5:0, goals scored by Hofmann (17', 52'), Calamita (28'), Junglas (59') and Abe (76') our B-Team keeps us in place with 17 wins in 17 matches.
But for now, we have to get our pillow to relax in L2, back again in Israel, hoping get outta here without injuries (no ambulance on site, just a scoring board we've seen...)
