LONDON CITY 2-2 AC GREENFIRE
We twice came from behind in this lower half match up. Bottom of the table Greenfire, gave us a hard game, but in the end we came out of it unbeaten. After a goalless first half, Our visitor's took the lead a minute after the resumption. Chris Pigott headed home our first equaliser just on the hour mark, from a cross by Wayne Dixon. Straight from the kick-off, AC Greenfire raced down the field and fired a shot past Rhys Williams to restore their lead. After 73 minutes, we sent on new signing, Tom Allen to play alongside his older brother in central defence, and within a minute we were back on level terms again, as Shinji Noda produced some individual brilliance to claim his first goal for the club. In the final few minutes, opposition defender, Sunden collected his second yellow of the game, leaving them with 10 men for the remaining couple of minutes. Defender Declan Jones won man of the match.
TEAM TALK: The point we gained today closes the gap between us and 7th place, to 8 points, and we play away to them tomorrow. So our fate could be sealed then. Fingers crossed.
