For one of the worst teams in my League, they preformed well. The game kicked into life only in the second half as in the first we were on the back foot. Happy with the result, going to need all the points we can get in this League.

We found it difficult to break them down and had a few chances with our opponents offering little in attack so second half I sent on an additional attacker and on the hour we got the breakthrough when Kuntz scored his first goal for the club, he flicked it past the defender and really got behind the defense and rifled in an unstoppable shot, a few more chances created but we could not add to the score.

Team Talk: Tough job to break them down, a change in formation was needed which did the job and they did not offer much up front so we will take the 3 points - 3 clean sheets so far!

Brief news from JT's Lucky 11 Acadamy team Meh FC

Champions League match finishes only 15 minutes before the 1st League match of the season causing the use of the last 8 rest packs on the team.

Fortunately no injuries today and an aggregate 4 goals without reply for the reserves.

LONDON CITY 2-3 RAMLA FC

A totally miserable day for City, started with this opening day league defeat. It wasn't until 20 minutes from the end that we started playing. By that time, we were already three goals behind. Ramla got the only goal of the first half and then added two more within 18 minutes of the second period. Finally, we got going and Jacob Wilkinson set up Declan Jones for our first, on 73 minutes. Three minutes later, debutant, Wasim Ali crossed for Homer Simpson to head home. We then had 14 minutes to try to find an equaliser, but it just wouldn't come.
