OLYMPIACOS FC 2-1 LONDON CITY

Our fifth league defeat leaves us down in 10th place and 4 points adrift of 7th. It's a bit early to be thinking about tanking the season yet, but it could be beneficial to do so. Smith scored twice in the first 36 minutes to put the home side in charge. We made a change at halftime, but things really didn't improve much. Dean Goody, making his full debut, did manage to score a consolation for us, direct from a free kick after 66, but that was all we could muster. The foul that led to our goal, also saw Aiden James leaving the field with a hamstring injury.

GOAL STATS: Smith 6, Smith 36, Goody 66

TEAM TALK: A boardroom discussion was held tonight to debate the pros and cons of tanking the season. Against is the loss of champions league football next season and the resultant loss of income. On the plus side, there would be the bonus of our players not losing star quality for next time, and as we are playing in a level 16 league, as a level 15 team, all players on our scout list are 7*. Therefore, it could be good to buy up a number of scouts this term, and then have a squad of 7*+ players for the start of next season. Then hopefully we will be back in our rightful level league.
