We tried not to let our opponents formations that caused us a lot of concern get to us and we tried out a new strategy against these formations and to be fair it worked reasonably quite well, We missed a great opportunity to go 1 up in the 6th minute from Papaleo hitting it wide but soon Papaleo provided Miku-Zidane a great opportunity to score in which Miku-Zidane couldn't miss,Miku-Zidane also had another chance to score in the first half but put it over. We spent the rest of the first half on the front foot and les guerriers had nothing much to offer going forward. We made it 2-0 midway through the 2nd half with Papaleo look like scoring for certain but setup Benayoun to score from a short distance, les guerriers had a couple of chances to get an away goal to keep the tie very much alive but Molano and Kayal had no way of getting past Lenoil and Regal today, and when the game was drawing to a close a foul on Martin caused him to be injured and it was too late to replace him and Benayoun scored from the free-kick.

Team Talk: I think this just about wins the tie for us. We were too strong for les guerriers this time and an away goal in the second leg will seal it. Third successive brace for Benayoun.
