League issue - 8th but joint 7th!!

So should Support make a decision on this, what exactly are their options? Will they give him tokens to make up for the fact that he is not in the higher level league? Will they put him in a higher league and drop a BOT team (that seems the most likely), but then what sort of record do they give him considering it is the 4th day of the league?

My issue is the lack of professionalism and speed with which they deal with issues. This should have been dealt with in the 3 days before the start of the league. It should have been automatic and not brought to the attention of Nordeus by the OP. These things need to be dealt with in a better way.

Absolutely spot on. Totally agree and I posted this problem on the lady day of the season with a screen print of the league! So they had 4 days before the start of the season to resolve! It took them over a week to reply with "it goes on most away goals scored!" And not done ANYTHING about it.... Is it me or have I scored the exact same away goals as the team in 7th?!? Wtf?!
An absolute joke. No promotion. No money. No tokens. No compensation for this stress and frustration.
Seems another real life player will be giving this game up to be replaced by yet another crap BOT.

We can't tell if you scored the same amount of away goals. The standing tables doesn't show where you scored your goals, away or at home. So it is entirely possible that the team that got 7th place scored the most goals in other people's stadiums.

HOWEVER:

The rules say nothing about most away goals scored. They specifically say:

"If the points are equal (they are), goal differential and then goals scored determine the winner. If still equal (It is), the teams are deemed to occupy the same position. If there is a tie for the championship or for qualification to other competititons, a playoff match at a neutral venue decides the winning team."

There should have been a playoff match as they state. Has anyone actually played a playoff match before? Or did they just write that assuming that such a situation would never occur anyway?
