Wow excellent start Mo, did you overhaul your squad? I prepared during the end of my 1st season and won my season 2 Lge and CL runner-up. I've only sold players so far so I'm struggling.
I'm 2nd in the CL and facing 3rd place team tmrw away but not before playing the bottom league team 30min beforehand.
And just committed myself to doing something tmrw during those matches. Was thinking of moving my Lge match so that I'm available to at least change my team, but gonna see if I can make up this lost ground.
Its going to be tough with some of my 1st teams not being able to reach 99% CND by game time :-/
Next time open your pic in Preview (dbl-click should be defaulted to Preview), select the part you want and Copy.
Close the window, then under Preview click File > New from Clipboard et voila!
Thanks Cat
I've managed to offload almost all my 1* players, now going to start playing catch up
Got another 2* MC U21 and another token DL (this time only 15T and I've still got my "top" DL from my first season
My academy is like Arsenal, only producing DLs and MCs :D
edit
Got rid of last season's 2* free MC, now only one more 1* left in my squad he'll be up for sale until his contract expires at the end of the season
So I got me a new MC just 8pts away from 5*, a steal at just 1T, though his wages are quite high
https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...93929662_n.jpg
I lost 3T dropping out of round 2 for Edinson Cavani (lol only Q30ish) then browsed the market and saw this player with no bids
Got me another 1T steal, and again only 8pts from 5*

I originally wanted a cheap mid20 yo ST as a squad player, now have 3 4 STs (1x5*, 1 almost 5* and my is 4*)
Sadly, my star player from original starting season squad is injured again cos I cant wait to play all 3 STs, my best player over Season1 & 2 (MC) and the new MC I got.
My fullbacks are 4* but my 2 DCs are only mid3* and my GK only 2*
I just realised both players have really high wages (50 & 45k), my previous highest earners are on 30, 29 & 28k and almost half my squad are on less than 9k.
Do I need to be more careful in buying more of these high wagers or am I on normal progression (Lvl3 now)
Hello all i am a newbie could someone please explain to me how do you find the progress of one of your players getting there next star ? Thanks you
Welcome to the Forum Emlyn (and to the game).
You click on the player's Skills, round up his Quality (Q) to the next 5 and mutliply by 3. Subtract the 3 avgs at the bottom then divide by 0.2.
You see my picture 2 posts up (the one with the red triangle shirt)?
His Q is 29, so round up to 30. x3 = 90.
Subtract 27.6, 31.4, 29.4 => 90 - 27.6 - 31.4 - 29.4 = 1.6... divide by 0.2 => 8
So 8pts until the next star
Now go to Training and look at the player's Progress bar, this shows you how close he is to the next point.
Also next to it is Gain: how much increase in % from the last training session or match
Got a new young right footed DC
https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...82094815_n.jpg
Another 1T 4*, this one not so close to 5*, will take 19pts, but his value is high, so hopefully I'll get those pts quick
Missed out on this guy as I was 0.5M short
https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/...80316819_n.jpg
Someone make me feel better and tell me that he's 3.12M only because he has a 2nd position compared to the one I did get.
Would have preferred an 18yo DL/DC who is both footed as can play in 3 back 4 positions, but only needed an inside right DC
Players do not gaine value for a second or third role or for having SA it is the opposite.
Whend you teach a New role or SA the player do not gaine value, is MV will be the same, the price only rise whend you rise Q.
So especialy in older players, If you have a triple role with SA cheaper that another player witH higher value but only one role, they can have the same speed of training.
Oh ok thanks
Damn, I just lost my inactive friend, no more risk free friendly matches to play :-/
Won another offline match today. Yesterday's was an even better result though, he had 7Q more than me and was 3rd place.
He watched the match but had 0 fans :D... and I beat him 0-2 while offline
Yes, it seems that the engine somehow protect the offline managers.
I also get that eerie feeling. Seems like when I log on while a match is in progress, then immediately there is an injury or if a replace one, the same thing happens. ( not sure if this is acceptable to post or comment on these days with things that are spooky or go bump in to big brother)
I have gone back and forth over watching matches. I have had runs where not watching was better, but also I have watched matches and felt that I made the difference. Sigh.. I still can't make up my mind if it is better to watch or not! :) it's more fun though so i still try to show up when I can..
I clicked Join Match just after KO and had an injury on the 1st min, injured for 12days! WTH :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Also forgot to set an alarm for the match so my team was all jumbled up due to selecting 1st team/subs by CND for training.
Lukily I had a my RES GK in DMC so was able to move him into goal, replaced my injured ST with my DMC so the team was looking alright, mixed strengthed team. Won it 1-nil, and through to the next Cup round
Zangy!
With your bad time keeping and Wierd training/ formations, you need a p.a or assist manager to hold you hand.
Make sure the last thing, when you do log off, is to set your EFn field for the next match, inclusive of all orders.
This is not funny anymore, I almost fell off the chair.
And don't forget the subs..
I still occasionally do and *always* want to kick myself because of course then there will be an injury....
lol yeah I know, imagine if I was a real manager turning up at the games after ko :D
I noticed instructions are never shown when u view someone else's formation, so when I remember to set my team I do the whole shebang.
The stupid thing about today was I logged in to see my match schedule but musta got distracted because I forgot to set my alarm or fix up my team
Surely you don't want to see the OPP strategy. What would be the purpose of that?
might be true i notice that too, when i play against teams that the manager its not watching the game i always get a bad result .
Damn, I just got dominated nil-3 by the Lge leader, he's won 9/9 and 7Q higher than me.
And I think he doesnt watch the games
Started 6days before I did but looks like the season before I started, only 4th in his season 1, 2nd in season 2.
No trophy in Lge Season 3 (looks like he tanked it, and came 3rd in his season3 CL)
I'm witnessing the Power of the Tank :D
So I know this may seem early, but based off my calculations none of my players will advance another star by the end of the season.
What I would like some advice on is were would you strengthen next season?
Attachment 15894
Nobody below the green line will remain in my squad, I struggled early seasons replacing alot of players at once, so now i replace any players who drop to 3*, and try to buy 5* about to be 6* players. Im aiming to replace 5 players, but I also want to add new players rather than just replace. Out of the players staying only 2 are over the age of 22.
One I am sure of is Ruffini my current number one GK who has been with me for 2 seasons, will be 3* next season, and will became my number 2. I will buy a 5* replacement for him.
For a start and based on the formation you are playing ... you are very weak on your left side .. planning for next season, I'd say you need 2 new left backs ... I'd look at bringing in a 5* quality LB this season and another one of higher quality as soon as possible next season, selling the one you already have.
I'd also try and bring in a good quality AMR, just to give you the option to play a wide attack if the need arises.
woah, i just got back from the weekend away with no internet, i have 48 skill pts :O
4 games: 2 League wins, CL win away and drew the cup game so KO'd out the Cup.
1st Lge match my lone ST gets injured after 12mins, I went on to win 8-nil :O amazing
Up to 3rd in my league.
I think i'm going to play normally next season and the season after that to see how far I can get up before needing to tank.
Slickz: you seem to have a small squad, it'll cost at lot if you're looking to replace your fringe players as well as bringing in 4 new 5-6* players (to bring your squad up to 22). If you dont have enough for 9 new players I'd keep your keepers and see how well Ruffini plays.
Priority would be to bring in 5-6* "replacements" for those you want to cut and attempt to sell them well into next season. They might do well enough even as 2* to keep you in contention until you can pick up bargains after the transfer rush
SlickZ I guess you never play with ML/MR? Maybe get a AMR so you can have more ways to play.. and I'd get a good DL/DC I agree totally w/ TypTex :D
Hi,
I'm two weeks into playing and really enjoying it. Have a couple of questions - any help would be great.
Attachment 15975
- Do I need to buy any more players now or should I just save my tokens/cash? I should have one 5* player when I promote and a couple nearly there. I'm trying to pick up some free agents to raise some cash but avoiding bidding wars not easy.
Attachment 15976
- What should I be spending money on for facilities? I've spent on first aid and training mainly so far but am thinking I should expand seating? Is it worth investing more heavily in youth set-up?
Cheers,
Alex
In level1 and 2 you normal do not need to buy a lot of player, just replace the older one for more young and with better Q, try to save tokens for the next seasons, because it becames harder.
I prefere to buy 3* fast trainers that free agents.
The Best players to buy are those with the highest MV, because they train faster.
In terms of facilitys there isen't a priority order, but those how give you something are the more important, just do not use Tokens to build faster.
Thanks for the reply. I've been trying to bring in young free agents but all I manage to get are 3* 20-21 year olds at the moment. I've got a few spaces that I'm looking to fill up ASAP though. Do you use these reserve slots to train people and sell them?
And what is MV and how do you find these players??
I've just started a youth set-up but see you wait 28 days at L0 for two players. Do you know how long the wait is at the next level?
Thanks again.
MV - monetary value.
Youth takes 24 to 28 day cycle.
Always build and improve facilities but be careful, DO NOT build while a cycle is in progress (ie youth, medical, training boosters etc). If you interrupt the cycle it reverts to day 1 and you lose out. Let the cycle compete then improve/build. You need to build all over to grow the club in terms of supporter base, income, booster packs.
I try to keep a reserve spot for guests, to buy Free Trs and sell on.
I normally have a full squad of 22 players, the reserves normally are 3* fast trainers close to the 4th star, that i have for backup for playing If my 1st options are injured, i train them every day and try to improve them the mutch i can, whend i find a better player i sell them, they are always a good investimento, because you always gain money with them.
Youth facility L0 take 28 days.
L3 take 24 days
L5 take 20 days and so on.
You receive 2 players one a free agent 2* and the other a 4* that will cost 15 to 24 tokens to sign.
My suggestion is always keep your Squad full 22 players, why?
1. To maximize the condition you can generate a day. 40% x 22 better than 40% x 17 tho.
2. You can effectively rotate your squad to play friendlies and earn green + red pack as well as let your focus-training player to train and play extra game.
3. This reason seem not to be fair, but having some low quality players in your team is actually good for you, your opponent (or T11 system) perhaps underestimate you (and drawn you in a bit less difficult Cup)
of course keeping these bad players won't cost you high wages since they aren't high quality. As long as they ain't your first 11, no harm but good. And you can always sell or sack them since your squad full 22 but you can have better ones
I don't know how everyone manage the team condition but for me I divide my 22 players Squad into 4 groups.
A: Training Group: 3-5 players (more or less depend on your team) consistently trained and play as much as possible. They must be 18-21 fast trained players. Green Packs after cover your main squad, are most used for this group. These player may be in first 11 maybe Sub depend on their quality (standard good enough) or performance. Watch out, injuries occurs this group the most.
B: The First 11 except group A. Always play important matches, they are good/great player, may not be young and fast trainers so only train them if they have spare condition (95%+ for matches) and rarely generate their condition using green pack unless you have 2, 3 matches one after another..
C: The Second 11. They are team to play friendlies. group A + other donkeys (reserve or sub but not often used or be sub in). The purpose is to suck all their condition up in exchange for green packs and red packs, try to win and take no card :D
D: The rest of the team excluding A. B. They maybe some player you bought + slowly natural train (Role, sa) for selling back, keep for better Cup drawn, some time use them in group C as well.
Hi guys I am new here currently in League 3 juz wanna ask how do u guys post ur pic of ur squad here?
I did actually change to ML/MR during season 3 & 4. Both seasons i failed to take home a trophy. Lost league both times on goal difference. I struggled to find any real promise. And i was looking to bring in a AMR this season, but Tan Tai , my st, gets 6 form in forward position, but gets 8 form playing AMR, which i have played him in all season.
SO DC/DL with an AMR for next season it is. Thanks for great advice :)
If you play in Facebook there's a little camera icon that puts a pic in your feed that you can save and upload here. I don't use that, I take a screen shot (shift key + Prt Screen) and then open Paint (or any image program) paste it in (Control-V or use menu) select and crop as desired, save.. (I also keep an archive of records of my team on my hard drive) then upload here. Many people use photo hosting sites to paste in the image code, so they have the large picture.
Because of the big number of stuck threads we decide to unstick some threads and keep stuck just the most important threads.
The thread can be found here : http://forum.topeleven.com/top-eleve...click-see.html
After the print-screen & crop method mentioned by Cat, I post my pictures onto a private album on Facebook. After posting, I view the pic, Right-click and copy picture location.
Alex, welcome to the game & forum.
Since you've come into the game late (2 3rds into the season) I'd hold off on building the Youth Academy until after the start of next season. You'd end up waiting longer for your youth players but they're over hyped tbh but you'll get them at the start of your 3rd season. Better to have them coming the following season as they'll be 1star (5Q) better than if they arrive at the end of the season.
I'd build in this order: Ambulance Cart; Training Ground; small, med, large seats and then only the Stadium.
DONT build the Stadium straight away, upgrade the seats one at a time as in between each one you'll get the increased attendances. Total build time and cost is the same.
Repeat the above order if they are not locked (for me interrupting the regeneration of Red and Green packs isnt much of a big deal unless you've got 1 or maybe 2 days to go) But DONT interrupt the Youth Players, build other stuff and try to time it so you can upgrade the academy as soon as you've gotten your new players.
When those "priority" upgrades are Locked, then I'd upgrade the Pitch & Car Parking before Toilet/snacks/cafe as they dont pay off much compared to extra seats.
What I've realised since buying a couple of "better" young replacements is, if they dont perform as well as your first team, dont play them. Train them hard instead and/or play them in friendlies so they get EVEN better for next season while your "slower" trainers are bringing in the results
So I am back for quick update since going mia, (though most do not know me :) ), I suffered some demotivation and stopped watching games after a terrible loss (do not understand how I lost the game).
Anyway quick update on my progress, I am currently sitting with a 4 point cushion on top of the league (much like arsenal), If I win all my games from now on Ill equal my best season (23w-2d-1L) so hoping it goes well, currently 14w-2d-1L.
With the champions league, after a scary start to the group stages with a 2-0 loss away from home and a draw in my 2nd game I clawed myself back into the group by having 4 straight wins. topping my group. From there I haven't looked back and currently have a 4-1 aggregate in the away home game so have a little bit of an advantage when I play my home game tomorrow, so a semi-final is almost on the cards if my team holds their nerves.
With the cup it has been plain sailing till the quarters where I drew 2-2 away from home and at home I held on for a 2-1 win, going through 4-3 on aggregate.
The only thing that has gotten to me this season is the demand on players in my transfer list, I never see a decent player without 3 or more different people bidding on it and with limited tokens I am steering away from 4-5 stars players for now until I build up a small stockpile.
What I foresee though is next season a lot of my players will be past it. Keepers will be both be 3star, my AMR which is the league top scorer at the moment will drop to 3 stars and I am wondering if it is worth grinding him through the season to 4 star again. The issue that arises is that if I need to overhaul my team, I will not have the tokens to bid on replacements.
I hope I haven't bored you guys with my thoughts
All the best with the last 1/3 of the season :)
Wilderness
And I thought having 6 STs was way too much, I only have 2 available
Its going to be tough clawing back 3rd place with my injury crisis.
https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/...59189894_n.jpg
This sucks, and my starting MR suspended to boot
Orange morale is still Good.. I save my boosters and only use them when they reach Poor so I'd use 2 for a full heal.
I've had players get 7/8 rating while Poor and had low rating players whilst Superb
Plus I wouldnt waste Morale boosters on injured players and my bench so wouldnt even count them, besides I boosted any Poor rated players once I've set my 1st team and also dipped into my Red boosters to heal 3 with the highest CND (cost me some 40 boosters )
And you're counting <4* players that are only in the 1st team because of the recent injuries
How do you determine a good striker before purchase? Most strikers I buy are under 20 and have never played a game for the club i buy them from, so for me its a crapshoot.
My first 3 seasons, I had a pretty good striker, I think he netted something like 80 goals in 85 games. In his third season, he netted 21 goals in 21 games in the league with 22 assits, 12 goals in 12 games in CL, and 6 goals in 6 games in Cup. But he was one of the starting players i was given.
Since then ive had numerous strikers come in, but all of them have failed to meet any real goalscoring stride, some start off well, but now have fell away. One netted 9 goals in 3 games, and now has a measly 23 goals in 49 games. Another 20 goals in 40 games. This season I bought a 18yr 5* striker, who hit his 6th star day later, he started well, and his average form is 7.8, but he has a pathetic 7 goals and 3 assists is 30 games. I look at top scorers in the league, and see a 4* 29 year old has 29 goals this season in the league, and none of my strikers have netted more than 10 goals. Im winning my league sure, and need 3 points to secure the title, and have scored 78 goals vs that guys team who has scored 80, but my goals have came from my midfielders and defenders. 17 15 11 respectively.
I have tried everything, switched their sides, played them as one upfront, two upfront, 3 upfront. My goals still come from my midfielders. I have had 8 strikers total since I sold Keehan who was a goal scoring machine ( He was 3 stars at this point ) And all of them have failed to impress, I know next season I wont have the funds to replace my vital area's while also trying to find new strikers.
I dont want to buy a striker who is a scoring machine, but ill get one season out of, and I know most players under 20 wont have played many games.
Im also wondering are scoutlist strikers any good? Sure they have good stars, but can they put the ball in the net ?
