Really>? Because on my farmed teams I buy them too. But only the more expensive ones...not MCs. They play well and their training speed is better than any other player on the team. I think it wouldn't be my choice on my 35T team, but I *could* it is an option, you can even buy a Scout on 35T if you are patient.

Aren't scouts overrated?
They're always too old for me, I'd rather buy a 5* who's 1Q away from 6 for even 20T

I forgot to set my alarms again, DAMN. 1st time I missed a match since I took a break from the forum lol
Lost the match 6-1 with my healed MC getting injured again after just 19min
No auto-sub and my DC gets a 2nd yellow, lost 10-1 on agg and out the CL

Update: How the hell do I get 63% possession and my only midfielder get a 4 rating? He truely sucks (same 39Q 5* 19yo MC I mentioned above) I had to play 2 DCs in DMC and they got a 6 & 7 rating
The other team got more shots than me also, but only 4 on target. I got 6/9 shots on target, ended 0-0 and slipped down to 5th

My fresher, better LB sitting on the bench and only 2/3 of my front 3 in the team
I switch to a counter formation, I go 1 goal up. Then the guy I beat from the last round, who added me as a friend, comes and supports him. What a douchebag. I'm gonna play a friendly with him JUST before his game and tire him out, support his opponent then unfriend his ass.

Ended the season 2nd place to someone who hardly played.
She drew her last game so I would have won the championship by goal difference, but it was not to be.
I was away with work so couldnt make my last game vs mid table team, and looks like a dodgy result, they scored on 6min however, so not completely a troll result.
I ended with 56% possession and 16shots, 9 on target but their keeper got a 9 rating with 2 saves

Oh yeah, the girl who won, has 6Q less than me and valued at only 15-19M where as my team is around 40M
However, most if not all her squad has SA... so maybe these do make a difference

OK, so a new season begins.

I saved all my Skill Pts of my 2 players who's contracts were expiring. However, they played atrociously in the last qtr of the season, could this be due to an expiring contract? (I didnt notice a significant rapid fall in their morale, just topped them up as & when like a normal player. So is this coincidental or a usual occurrence to players who have bulk SPs waiting to be assigned? I can imaging a player with stunted growth not playing to his best but I doubt this game is as sophisticated lol

Ideally, I'd want to hold onto my SPs until the start of next season as the lower Q your player, the faster they train.
And while this may be a frowned upon thing, I'm going to make the most of this in that it'll give me an easier cup run perhaps. So does this also apply to placing you in a league? In which case, I may even hold onto my SPs until after my League has been assigned.

Once they have got the SPs enough to get to the next star they slow down.

I do find that if I am witholding points for awhile, and the player gets ucky ratings, if I assign some points, they play better.. for what it's worth.

Hi all. I'm starting my 2nd full seaon now on lvl 3. I don't count the 2 or 3 matches in my 1st. I was kinda shocked to see my just assembled team lose a star after season 1. lol So I scraped by enough tokens to get me a bankloan for season 2, the smallest available. That's the only investment I have made. I made some money buying free agents and selling them during the season and around half way through the season my team was 5+ lvls stronger, by the end 10 then the runner up. Endresult season 2: League 1st, CL 1/4 finals, Cup prelims knocked out.

Season 3. Got my team about ready now and am somewhat happy about my new players. Judging by the quality of the teams in my CL roster I have a good chance. One team comes close to mine, the rest seems much weaker. Then again, I had the highest quality in the roster last season too.... The Cup was a total disaster. Home 3-2, away 1-0, knocked out by conceded home goals. Against an illegal (3N-1-3N-3N) formation no less. I countered with 4-3-2W-1. What I particularly don't like about it, is that the Cup is the only competition to play vs teams with similar quality. I dont feel there's much to learn from just playing much weaker opponents. Anyway, my avg team quality is 27,5 atm, if anyone with 25-30-ish quality is in need of a sparring partner (like me), feel free to send me a PM.

I do have a few things I wonder about. I get the feeling that the stronger my team became and thereby the qualitydifference in matches, the more my team underperformed. My best matches were played with mostly subs last season. Further, looking at my recent loss in the Cup, it seems that very small details can make a very big difference, and that a team who has all his quality in his 3 strikers is never to be underestimated (as I didn't watch it), no matter how poor or illegal his formation is.

Last night I set up my team for my CL match and now that I log in, there were new League matches posted so had one this morning and didnt change my team around.
Had 3 injuries in those 2 matches also, my Top ST, and top 2 midfielders. Oh well, only 2, 3 & 4 days without my attacking threat
