That would be a matter of choice for yourself, according to the strength of your competitors. I'm now in my 17th season, and have never won the cup yet. I place that as my least priority.

There are pros and cons with going out of the cup. Obviously you lose the match income, but on the plus side, it means that every second day, you get only one fixture, which allows your players to recover fitness without having to use green packs.
