Please Nord work on this issue.
I am at level 5 and playing against all those managers from levels above me. These managers do not spend money on their teams and just because they are at higher levels they have teams with quality equal to my team or slightly higher.
If you think it is fair, well, wake up it is NOT. They have access to way much better auction and scout players.
Please try to work on this issue.

That is the nature of cup competitions in all aspects of football, whether real life or simulated. In ALL competitions, there are always small teams up against far bigger teams. This game is no different.Quote:

I'm always the smaller team. When do I get to be the big team? It should happen at SOME point, but in this current format, it will never happen.
In the old cup format it was even worse. Then they just used to have random entries. I remember when in season 3 or 4, I had to play a team at level 22.Quote:

Wait a minute? If my team is better than average for my level, am I playing against better teams in the CUP or am I playing against weaker higher level teams? IS there a difference?
Jesus people, this is the freaking price you pay for spending money and tokens in this game!!! If you super-size your team you are going to play against others that are higher level because your quality is equal or better than theirs. how hard is this to understand? If it were any other way it would be more unfair for everyone. So suck it up and take whats coming to you. OR stop super-sizing your team and just be normal and play against managers closer to your level.Quote:

Totally agree with Cracicot, there is no issue at all to fix. The system works as it is intended.
The cup links together people of fairly similar quality at the beginning of the season. Obviously as the season progresses, certain levels are able to get players of higher quality than others are able to. But that's unavoidable.
Your bought superior quality team that you have will get you an advantage in your league and in the CL. The cup is where you face equal quality teams (at least initially).
You are actually specifically complaining that your opponents in the cup have similar or (some) slightly higher quality. Are you for real? Wake up and enjoy having competition and using tactics to outwit your opponents (or the troll engine) in ONE out of 3 competitions. You can buy your way to the title and champion's league in the other 2 competitions no problem.
I have a very normal team, my avg quality never goes above 5*, but I still have to play teams 2 or 3 levels higher than mine in the cup. They are very weak teams for their level, which means their manager isn't very active, because an active manager would have a budget of 35T and would build a better team. Their manager just buys some 5* players ending in 0 or 5 and beats me without any problems. I don't understand why these teams should win any trophies. Why give them the chance to win a trophy when they don't know how to play the game? And let's not forget about those managers who keep 1* players just to lower the avg quality of their teams... The most fair cup would be to put together players of the same level in a totally casual way...
I totally agree that they could take this one step further and categorize the teams based on quality AND level, but like I said, it is beyond the scope of Nordeus's intelligence and capability. that would be the perfect solution and would make everyone happy, but at the end of the day, all it takes is one token-happy moron to buy a squad full of scouts after the draw on day 1 and ruin everyones cup run. That is the price we pay for playing a game structured for profit.Quote:

Ok I give U the Cup but what about being put in a league with 10 teams from a level above me.
that is unfortunate but there are not enough people on your server to make up a league of people in your level. it sucks but that is the way Nordeus Organizes things. They need to stop using the bots and start putting real managers in their places. I am sure if they did this better, there would not be your problem.Quote:

That being said, I would prefer they fix the 3 hour between game scheduling issue first, then troll engine with the illegal formation issue, then the substitution issue, then the friendly issue. This cup issue is last on my list of priorities as it is the least offensive.

yes, i totally agree, but they should be warned that they are using an illegal formation with that stupid Trollinho popup first.
There should be no illegal formations. Then we can play without as ST thus using the new tactic of False 9 which has shown gr8 success. Also, I would love to play without players on the flanks.
No illegal formation means we can even 'Park the Bus'. Then as someone had mentioned in some thread, we can use the W/M style. So many more options will come if there r no illegal formations thus making the game more real and versatile. After all, being a better manager includes experimenting to make new and better formations and tactics!!!
