Competition was tough for this season's new GOLDEN BOOT winner. It was close throughout the entire season, even down to the final 26th game. Congratulations to Cheng!

The second player we say goodbye to is Xander Van der Zande. He was the 4th project alongside Warmwater and Vittalone (left) and was Warmwater's twin opposite, operating on the left of defence. He had a very bad start and had lots of yellow cards and low ratings but over the seasons he really has upped his game and stands to be one of our best defenders ever, scoring over 50 goals as a defender. All those seasons of power training paid off.

    Career stats:
    1st season: Appearances: 36 - Goals: 5 - Assists: 0
    2nd season: Appearances: 42 - Goals: 8 - Assists: 1
    3rd season: Appearances: 37 - Goals: 12 - Assists: 0
    4th season: Appearances: 41 - Goals: 7 - Assists: 0
    5th season: Appearances: 37 - Goals: 6 - Assists: 0
    6th season: Appearances: 36 - Goals: 4 - Assists: 0
    7th season: Appearances: 51 - Goals: 6 - Assists: 0
    8th season: Appearances: 37 - Goals: 3 - Assists: 0
    9th season: Appearances: 15 - Goals: 0 - Assists: 0
    --------------------------------------------------
    Total: Appearances: 333 - Goals: 51 - Assists 1

    League wins: 9

We say goodbye to 3 players who have played their last game at the club. The first player we say goodbye to is Luke Warmwater.

Warmwater has been such a good defender for us. He has served us many seasons and has been solid at the back. He has done his job well but he will be a low end 5* player next season and it's unlikely he will fit in the team any more. He was one of the first projects we ever did in the game back in Level 5, power training him all the way to 7* as well as 2 roles and SA.

    1st season: Appearances: 29 - Goals: 4 - Assists: 0
    2nd season: Appearances: 40 - Goals: 2 - Assists: 0
    3rd season: Appearances: 44 - Goals: 4 - Assists: 1
    4th season: Appearances: 38 - Goals: 2 - Assists: 0
    5th season: Appearances: 45 - Goals: 5 - Assists: 0
    6th season: Appearances: 39 - Goals: 3 -Assists: 0
    7th season: Appearances: 37 - Goals: 6 - Assists: 2
    8th season: Appearances: 50 - Goals: 8 - Assists: 0
    9th season: Appearances: 30 - Goals: 3 - Assists: 0
    10th season: Appearances: 30 - Goals: 1 - Assists: 0
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Total: Appearances: 383 - Goals: 38 - Assists: 3

    League wins: 10
    Cup winners: 1
    Cup third place: 1
    Champions League: 7
    Runners up champions League: 1

    Final League Table

We win our Level 26 league by 14 points... Not the best league season we have had statistically, but you mustn't forget we were placed in a league that was 1 level higher than our manager level this season. PIPPO FC got 2nd ahead of TeamSystem COBRA whos early challenge faded just after mid-season, Hansa Rostock hung on for the final CL place. Dersimspor had been bottom of the league all season and won the final game to avoid the wooden spoon.

    Season Review to follow shortly.

I wrote I would not post any more FCK stories, but that season finish deserves a picture:

Chano Petersen is one of the most iconic players in top eleven and has even made his name into the teams of July Fourth and AEPRE FC.

We bought him from the scout list over a year ago not knowing what to expect from him. He exploded into form and netted 54 goals in the first 36 games. Him being a midfielder, those stats were absolutely incredible. He went into his 2nd season and scored the record ofthe most goals in a season by 1 player with 87 goals. He was consistent over the next few seasons and we decided to power train him to 8* a few times and that paid dividends with some amazing returns. We put him on every single set piece and was scoring them so easily..He has won us many cups and you could say the team revolved around this player alone. The decline started in season 10 (level 11) but he still netted and scored goals. It is a shame that he was a scout player because he had so much more potential but age became an issue and now he sets to retire tomorrow and will disappear from top eleven forever. The fact that he had a goal conversation rate of about 1.26 goals per game as a midfielder is an achievement in itself.
