Can't stand 'Tankers' - its cheating and should be discouraged

It's a strategy and how can you compare this to FIFA in any way, it's a completely different concept. People have a bad team and can't compete with the rest of the league, what exactly would they be playing for? Oh right, yeah get promoted without any Champions League, that's a great idea!

What if you're going on holiday for 2 weeks and you'll miss half your season... Come back to find yourself 10 points off the top 3 and no chance of catching them up, what would you be playing for? A nice 4th place certificate? This is not real football and neither is this FIFA. There are other reasons for tanking other than cup manipulation (which is the first time I've heard of this reason). By the way, if you really wanted to manipulate the cup you'd just sell all your players, buy 3* players and when the season starts refresh your team with 5* and scouts. How is it different to me "cheating" and power training my players to get an advantage over other players?

I can see where you're coming from though. I can understand that it's not "natural" or "normal. But then again, what's natural about this game anyway?

And see even dv8r, a token buyer accepts that tanking is a way to be able to compete and if u can't compete this session, back off and come back stronger next season. Agree it will not make sense in real life but in this game, half ththings make no sense.
