Can't stand 'Tankers' - its cheating and should be discouraged

I really do not ipunderstand Whats the point of tis thread.
I already tanked one of my teams, because in the first season it wasent strong enought to fight for top 4, and finished 5th in the season before, so no money of CL, so i decided to tank, and i can assume you that it His hard playing for loosing, this the engine have is one will.
Last season i was only second, was eliminated form the cup in first round by away goals, by a Little higher Q Team, did not have a easy draw in cup.
Was with low money since was my second season without CL.

Why do not make a thread about limiting the numbers of tokens you buy based on the Q of your league oponents, or limites the watching of videos to the same number in all countries or at least draw the leagues with the teams with the same oportunitys.
And i not complainig about that and Making real noise, this game does not offer the same opportunities to all the players. So everyone plays the way they like.

The worst of all is manipulating results with multiple accounts, thats cheating.

Exactly. I forgot to add that people here watch 6-7 videos a day for boosters whilst here is no offer for that. Now isn't THIS unfair????

It's a strategy and how can you compare this to FIFA in any way, it's a completely different concept. People have a bad team and can't compete with the rest of the league, what exactly would they be playing for? Oh right, yeah get promoted without any Champions League, that's a great idea!

What if you're going on holiday for 2 weeks and you'll miss half your season... Come back to find yourself 10 points off the top 3 and no chance of catching them up, what would you be playing for? A nice 4th place certificate? This is not real football and neither is this FIFA. There are other reasons for tanking other than cup manipulation (which is the first time I've heard of this reason). By the way, if you really wanted to manipulate the cup you'd just sell all your players, buy 3* players and when the season starts refresh your team with 5* and scouts. How is it different to me "cheating" and power training my players to get an advantage over other players?

I can see where you're coming from though. I can understand that it's not "natural" or "normal. But then again, what's natural about this game anyway?

My point does not stand for anyone that is going on holiday or that wants to make more money. My point only stands for people that want to tank so that they can be seeded and dominate lower opposition.

As for calling this a pointless thread (Damn2pt) - Isn't this the point of a forum? - To discuss issues within the game.

And see even dv8r, a token buyer accepts that tanking is a way to be able to compete and if u can't compete this session, back off and come back stronger next season. Agree it will not make sense in real life but in this game, half ththings make no sense.

i came across 5 token buyer`s in the league i got promoted to so all i`m doing is fighting for is 5th to 7th yes promotion but no champions which is what everyone really wants so i don`t see in any harm in tanking a season for the next season and top 4 finish

Hiya, Marc. Hope you had a great season and more than your fair share of injuries, yellows and losses.

Each manager plays the game they see fit. If it gives them satisfaction, so be it, who am I to judge them. Progress is an evolution and time concept. I see this game as 2-3 years, so there is no rush. The main thing is that I learn from my mistakes and attempt to make some contribution while doing so.
If you repeat a level more than once, it is no poor reflection on anyone other than yourself. Your elders, nor your young'uns are not involved. The choices you make are yours and yours alone, as long as there is satisfaction and enjoyment. Otherwise, what's the point.
Every now and then it's good to stand back and look at the big picture.

I can see the argument for both sides. I wouldn't say it was cheating but a way for non token buyers to build a squad.

But also I think it is a bit of an achievement to get promoted each season.

I considered tanking last season because I refused to buy tokens I found myself falling behind a few teams and I had a bad start to the season, but I then thought it would be good to have been promoted 13 seasons in a row.

there is another reason for tanking and that is if you are top of your server and getting no 5 star player`s in the market then why not get a couple of level`s above you so when you get promoted there should more 5 star player`s i know there are at least 4 levels above me now so when promoted i should not have problem with 5 star player`s on the transfer list
