which foot takes which side free kick??

Under free kick selection, we have to choose which player takes free kick from left side and which from right.

If I have left footed player, I should let him take left side isn't it? I remember when i was a teenage attacking midfielder last time in school, I feel more confident taking free kicks from left as I'm a left footed player

this is why i use a either footed player to take free kicks, easier than worrying about it

It really depends what sort of delivery you're looking for.

If you want an inswinging corner (ie a delivery that is angled towards the goal), put a left-footer on the right, or vice versa. For an outswinging corner (ie if you're looking to hang one in the box for players running from deep) - put your left footer on the left (or right footer on the right).

I suspect all of this is totally academic as far as Top Eleven is concerned.

All I can add is that like Ryan above, my right-footed (DR) free kick specialist appears to have little problem scoring from either side.

yep, bonus point for either footed. some say, they use both their feet at once, all we know is they can usually score
