Is it weird? I don't think it is too strange, especially since the bidders could have varied pings, it makes a certain sort of sense. But it does say whether you are qualified for the round, and if more that one has bid, you need to bid in the knock out round, otherwise you can get "sniped" as you experienced.

The system should be designed like this. After initial round, any higher bid will extend the deadline for 1 min (or say reset the 1 min). This is simple and make much more sense!

Not played it but many of my friends play it and they sy it is good. The bidding system is like if u place a bid, the clock resets to 1 minute and if no one bids within 1 minute, u win. And if someone bids, then after the end of that time, the clock again resets to 1 min. So, even if ur opponent bids after u, u have 1 min to bid, no matter how less time be4 the deadline he bids so u don't need to unnecessarily waste ur tokens. But, in FUT, u have no tokens.......only cash
