Is it really worth it expanding your stadium after you've done enough to get all the important facilities like grass, medical, youth and training?

I know that, but not much more. For example, my latest seats upgrade cost me over 80M and adds 6500 seats. At a price of $30, roughly what I'm charging at level 15, it will take over 400 home games to get my 80M back.

my level is lower than yours. but based on the numbers you are showing, i think you are better off to hold expanding your stadium. maybe don't hold completely, but just do it slowly. based on posts here by people in higher levels, there is a max limit on the game money the system can hold. so maybe once you reach that level or when you have more than enough money to buy all the players you need and still have excess money, then you can continue to build your stadium more aggresively.

btw, as you go higher in level, you can also increase the price. so the number of games to recover the $80m will be lesser than 400 games. but i think it is still not worth it if it means sacrificing buying new players.

Thanks for the input, jtcfmb. I think if I'm going to eventually upgrade my stadium all the way, then I might as well do it now so that I'm getting back some of my investment every home game. Of course, I won't buy the next upgrade if it bankrupts me, and I'll only do it if I have the money to spare.

Not sure how much longer it will be until I reach the cash limit, the limit is 2.147B, and my team is currently worth half of that. I think ticket price can only be raised by a couple of dollars every season, but even then, it'll still take more a few hundred home matches. I suppose I could always play friendlies lol.

It doesn't make any economic or football sense to be in a rush to increase stadium capacity. Stadium upgrade is designed to be progressive and continoius as you level up...

he's not really rushing. at his level, the stadium is the only one left to upgrade. the rest of the facilities are probably maxed out.
