For 4-5-1V go down the flanks. For ND, through the middle. For 4-4-1-1 either mixed or through the middle.
What i had suggested, Narrow pipe and 4-1-1-2N-2 should be through the middle.
Leaving that, in all case no matter what formation u r using, go attacking, hard tackling, press whole pitch, zonal marking, long passing, yes to Counter attacks, yes to offside trap.
I believe Wiesse too will agree with me.

Attacking and counterattack goes not together. I would opt mentality normal or defending and counterattack that's better. But that's my expierence.

I have beaten hexagon with the narrow diamond with only 2-1. Same Q.

I think that you only with the ND the attacking mentality can use.
