Season 48 (15.12.13/11.01.14)

A 3 - 0 defeat to the title challengers. After 70m was spent on re-constructing the team they failed to get a victory over a team many feel they should have.

All down to defense anyway, with just one solid defender we seriously lack in that front. A signing has been made to improve the defense. We're out of money, and out of tokens so we just have to hope that the server gives us decent "old players" at the end of the season.

We do however have an exceptional midfield and Striker (in my opinion).

League Match:

Won 4-1 against a 13th position bot, a very weak team....
We went 4-1-2N-0-3 against ND. Crofts set up the first goal for Griffiths. Then Crofts himself found the back of the net by Jokic's assist. Then Griffiths got his brace from a goal from a Long Distance. Then Crofts got a corner and he crossed it perfect to Elsik to score the finisher. We conceded one somehow from a double corner!!!!!!.... But Maz was good. He made 2 good saves. One from a counter attack which he saved, not even conceding a corner. 2nd was a corner which they headed but Maz punches it away.

MoM Crofts(1 goal and 2 assists) Though Griffiths was equally deserving.

Overall i was not much impressed. Jokic missed on two occasions. But the point is, it was against a very weak team. I expected at least 6-0. And even 4-0 would have been fine but not 4-1. My defence was not up to the mark. Maybe an off day. Doesn't matter though, as long as we win.

I forgot to mention to u guys.

4 days ago i signed a 5* 54Q Aerial Defender DC named Yolchev. He is 28 yo and is now 1 Skill Point away from 6* He was a replacement for talijan who was a little low Q. He has played 4 matches now with rating of 7-7-8-7 so not bad. He has however made many tackles and he always seems do do away with those corners!!!!!

Talijan is now a sub.
Harrera was sold off in one go

Harrera was a great player who served me for 3 seasons. He was an amazing DC. with aerial defender ability, he used to get a rating of 8 every2 matches out of 3. He was low Q and so had to be done away with as a part of our defence reconstruction program Hope he has a good time with his new club and he proves good there
