hi.
this is semifinal of champion.
first match i lose 3-2
second match i win 3-2 so we go to the additional time and we do one goal for every team. so we are 4-3 for me. but the match finish without penalties and i go out of champio. why?
where are in the additional time every goal is a normal goal without the rule of away goal (i don't know the name in english).

Away goals still count as double during extra time.

i know that this computer count away goal rule during extra time but in the real match we do penalties.
it's not right.

It's as simple as this...

Total goals scored: 6 each

Your # away goals: 2

Opponents # away goals: 3

Opponent proceeds to next round by virtue of away goals scored (3-2). Penalties are therefore not required.

I thought this was how it worked in actual football too.. Guess not haha. So if Ivris's game had been IRL it would have gone to penalties?

In the UEFA CL the away goal rules is applied after extra time, too. Nordeus implemented it correctly, but I feel for you. Such losses suck.

"For matches played under the knockout system, if the two teams involved in a tie score the same number of goals over the two legs, the team which scores more away goals qualifies for the next stage. If th is procedure does not produce a result, i.e. if both teams score the same number of goals at home and away, two 15-minute periods of extra time are played at the end of the econd leg. If, during extra time, both teams score the same number of goals,away goals count double (i.e. the visiting club qualifies). If no goals are scored during extra time, kicks from the penalty mark (Article 17) determine which club qualifies for the next stage."

It is. Any competition that uses the away goals rule will continue the rule into extra time. (hmm I know there's probably an exception ..but .. it would be unusual).

I do agree with OP though, in this game the away goal rule is unfair, and I'd like to see it scraped. There simply is not enough advantage in this game to playing at home 2nd to even out the rule.

But on the plus side of it, it makes the cups more tactical and encourages attacking football in the away legs .. so I understand why the game has away goals.
