Did you buy a Scout player ??? I have never seen bidding for a player for 50 tokens ??? Unless you bid over 50 times which is hard to see ???

Bid on older players 30+ with Special ability they are ex-scouts, they are underestimated from people and usually you are getting them with 1 token, most of them are performing very well formwise, you can have a full squad of 5* with 11 tokens for all season, next season do the same, no need for tanking or biding do the same even for injurie replacemert, thats what i think its better if you are short on tokens.

Wait to the last 2 minutes, If you already have there 2 or 3 managers, dont bid.

If you already bid on the player, see your opponents, If you have there one with a Team full of scouts, forget your token, that was you only lose one.

Depending on how mutch tokens you can get for season, 35+ the ones you can farm for seing vídeos+ those you can buy, put a maximum of 5 or 10 tokens for avery player. There is more players on the market you do not need to waist all your tokens in one player.

Set urself a limit. Like, I won't go more than 5T on this player. Thern as u spend ur 5th token, stop. Don't go for that 'One more bid' as it never stops. U will only end up wasting ur tokens. If u had set such a limit u wud have saved enough tokens to buy 7-8 more players.

i find early hrs of the morning is a good time for me so as some have said set a limit for bidding myself i won`t go past 10 tokens and i also bid early in the first couple rounds and pick a round where it looks like i`v given up bidding then bid last second this can be risky as could miss time and not get bid in also if there 3/4 players still bidding after round 3 then i give up as they will carry on i want 1 or 2 bidder preferably 1 bidder i have saved a lot tokens this way as i now 1662 tones saved,
