i read somewhere if your shots is blocked by their defender in goal area, hit the bar, and hit the human wall (freekick) it's still considered as shots on target. CMIIW

that must be one terrifying shot off target since it took the voyager 30ish years to reach the end of the solar system, this ball is already exiting the galaxy. i doubt tsubasa is at this level even with his kitty kitty bang bang shots. saransh should be able to see it leave the milky way soon enough, ill just wait for it to return from the other side

I loved the answers on this thread.. but it is more mundane.. like Neojihad said, the Defenders in the game either blocked the shots (you can tell if they get 8's or 9's they were active) or other players (the commentary sometimes mentions someone directly), or it hit the woodwork.

Yes.. now jokes apart, u see many times it comes written "XX hammers it towards goal.... but it SPINS OFF YY/ but YY gets in the way/etc"
So on this case the shot was on target, but the defenders came like superman, agreed to get hit by the rocket-like ball even if it hurts, and stop the ball from entering the goal
