How to improve the form of certain players?

    Hi guys,

this is a question to the topeleven experts in this forum:

As most of you might have realized, at a certain point of time some players are in really bad shape. That means they get bad marks from game to game, even though they are one of the best players in the team, stronger than their opponent and are constantly playing in the first eleven.

This changes from season to season, but if they once have a bad form, there's no way to stop it. At least, that is what I have realized.

At the moment I have three players getting marks from 4-5, every single game. Even in friendly matches against weaker or stronger teams.

I tried the following: put them on the bank for about 5 games (no effect).
let them play in friendly matches against weaker opponents a lot (no effect).
    change their positions (no effect).

Moral and fitness is of course perfect.

Is there anybody out there who knows how to get them back in shape?

    Thanks everbody!

    Regards

Change the formation with which you are playing you will see different results...Some type of players play well with certain formations and other with some other formation...

    Thanks for the answer.

this is a possibility, but then I would loose the advantage of my team being used to a certain formation.

If you are in a mood to continue your formation as it is then no matter what players you buy for that position the chances are very high that they will continue to perform badly...

Can't confirm that, players I bought for that positions as reserve are performing quite well.

Have you compared the attributes (skills) of the players that perform well vs. ones that don't?
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

Yes I did. I just put together an image that shows 2 of those players performing bad, compared to their respective substitute (you have to zoom in a bit ).

I can'T see any relation in age or attributes.

By the way, both are performing weak for at least one complete season.

Only the first panel show attributes. I mean Defense, Attack, Physical/Mental. There most certainly is a relation to their performance, though it isn't all of it.

Attributes and statistics from my team last season

ah sorry, now I see it. Sorry i know what you mean, I just made a mistake.

    Here is the information needed:

from left to right: attack, defense, physical, statistics

If you compare Tanaskovic with Figo and Winder with Matthäus, at least I can't see a correlation coming from age or attibutes.
