I think this is a good thing if it's true, like already said, for competitivness. Only thing I don't understand is why would people want to buy more tokens now? Those who actually like competition that won't be so easy won't need another billion tokens because of that but will rather focus a bit more tactically, but it's opposite to those who actually want to "win with money"- for those best thing could be to have a button during game that says "WIN MATCH- __ tokens" so that they could click on it and get what they want the best way they could- with ease.
I like what they did (if they did what July said) because now when I face a stronger opponent I know I haven't lost already in advance- it makes the game less token-based which was a thing I kinda complained about when I started playing T11.
