midfielders and scoring more goals?

Previous season I was scoring a lot against 5-6* weaker teams. Now when i bought more powerful players and midfielders I score only 2-0 3-0 at home against 12* weaker teams. Can it be because of midfielders? Another club is chasing me in league and scores 7-0 9-0 against teams I can hardly win and his quality is 5-6* lower then my. WTF?

1st, powerful/quality is not = guarantee. (...-.-' I say this every day)
2nd, try to analyze how play your MC's, if you see their names during the match, if they are active, if they shoot.
And in 2nd half if you don't see the name of one during 50', just change this for another.
To win 7-0 you need a good team in all lines, so yeah, is posible something fails.

Some seasons my better playerd was a MC, not a ST, and he did the 70% of the work, but, you now players are older, others come to the team, and now in my case the best is a ST. But, when one have a great MC, you can see the difference easy.
Try to see how work and participate your MC's in the game during some matches, and if you see that one, is worst in ststistics or do nothing just bring this player to the market and buy another.

If I see him during a match in comments, but he makes a lot of mistakes and his passes don't succeed, then I have to sell him also yes?

Could it be ur formation? Do u get good possession during matches?

If it's a fail, fail and more fail, yes, sell is the better. If you have a player programmed to do well asistances, or score, he will do this action always, if he fail, one time and another, that's the way he will bring. If you want you can try to put a picture of this MC that is failing, and too about the formation, but you know my viewpoint about all this.
Of course is interesting have the your 8% possesion + the 5% in your stadium.
My opinion at now is that you have to sell your worst MC, and try better luck.

SAMs (side attacking mids) arent as powerful as SMs (side mids), not sure about WB (wing backs) since i havent tried using a formation that required them though. try setting your CMs with blue, it turns them into makeshift CDMs and theyre overpowered in this game
