What is the highest capacity a stadium can currently hold? Highest I have seen is 111, 000. I don't really see how it can go any higher than this?

The highest stadium capacity when the last stadium is built with all its seating upgrades is 260,000. Thats got to be on the unrealistic side of things.

Maracana in the old days held up 200,000 but that was terracing before it was redevoleped, Wembley held upto 127,000 in the old days with possibly a very much higher attendance in the 1923 FA Cup final in the famous white horse final where too many fans were allowed into the stadium.

Yes, There was no seats in those stadiums and we are no where near 260,000 in most cases, Nou Camp 98,000, Wembley 90,000, San Siro 80,000. None of todays major stadiums are any where near 260,000. 6 of the Top 10 stadiums in the world are used for NFL.
