On the training screen what does the blue progress line mean and what does it do?

1. The Blue progress line indicates how far off/near your player is to getting his next cone.
2. The numbers next to it indicate how much training points he has accumulated for a match or for that one instance of training.

So if you train one player Hard, you will notice that he gets a +70. So the +70 is added to the blue progress line. If previously the blue progress line is at about 50%, then you would notice that after +70 it will be at about 20%. Note that other players have +0 because you only train one player.

That is my understanding. I had some difficulty figuring it out myself last time.
