What does playing in a friendly do for you?

I had just played a match earlier today and about an hour after that match, a friend on my friend's list played a friendly with me unexpectedly. I didn't know he offered a match, I didn't get a notification on my cell phone. I just logged off and logged back in and it told me to join the match. I didn't want to play a friendly match, because my players just finished playing a match and don't have full stamina. Did my players lose even more stamina from playing a friendly? Do I gain anything from playing a friendly?

Your players don't lose stamina, morale or anything else anymore. Only the team which "offered" the friendly match will lose stamina, morale and lose / gain boosters.

It used to be it would affect all of those things! They fixed it cos that was #1 complaint for sure. You can see how your players did though which is nice.
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

Oh ok, that is good to know!
So I can play a friendly match against people from my friendlist, whenever it fits my schedule and it will NOT harm him?
