Scout players

Okay, so i have 41 tokens, should i wait to buy a scout player or maybe i should go for 2-3 players from the market? What's your opinion?

if you buy only one scout make sure he is not older than 23-24 years and that he is topped with a good special. Free kick special ability and corner SA works pretty sweet the rest i am not sure about working at all.
When i talk about topped i mean a 24,29,34 or 39 player and so on.....!
I would only bought a scout for a key position like, Goalkeeper, DMC or AMC! This is if you can only buy 1!!!

i have a scout AMC, and i have i really good player with Free kick ability and also have a scout MR AMR with Corner ability.. So that's why i dont know what to do.. I was thinking to buy a defender with Header ability or maybe a GK.. But i'm still wondering should i spent all of my tokens for one player

My advice go on the transfer market or negotiations and buy one near to scout for 3-8 tokens then train him to scout !!!! may take 1 or 5 training sessions but worth it !

By a scout, no older than 25/26 then you will have him for a good few seasons, don't buy a keeper go for a striker one on one or midfielder freekick specialist, defenders arial or defencive wall.

ive saved up tokens (all from last season as i did not spend any) and done loads of free offers
i brought a 22 year old GK he played a 4-5-5
also brought a dmc he played a 4-5-5
and ive brought a lm he played a 6-7-6 this game is a total con 3 scount players and 150 tokens down the drain

That is just bad luck for you! I have bought 3 scout strikers in the last four seasons and have had the leading league goal scorer four the last 4 seasons!, my scout goal keeper last year conceeded very few goals!, I could go on but I wont, if your scout is underperforming then play him in a different position i.e.if he is a striker playing right move him over to the left! also you may not have your team set up to get the best out of him!, scouts do work, I have used them for the last 5 seasons and had great success.

Buy a scout...but a scout need 50 tokens so You need to farm more...the player in the market now is terrible...don't go for it...or u can go for nego like MY HUNIE said...keke...if you are level 4 and above...

I've bought 3 scouts in my T11 club history

1. MC playmaker aged 23, one star short of WC - Season 4 OK, Season 5 Good, Season 6 OK, Season 7 Terrible, Season 8 SOLD!
2. DMC playmaker aged 22, one star short of WC - Season 7 Good, Season 8 Good
3. AML corner specialist aged 22, two stars short of WC - Season 7 Excellent, Season 8 Excellent

Would I advise you to buy a scout? Yes if it is a player position that you really need

Would it be a guaranteed hit? No, he could be a dud!

Should you buy? Just for the sake of buying one to try, yes.

You can spend 50 tokens at worst to get two 5 star players at the market who are a star short of being WC, but that itself is also a risk as they are not guaranteed to be good as well.

You can also spend 20-40 tokens to bid on a fast trainer in the market and then you would need more tokens after that to power train him. Again, results are not guaranteed

Just to add I bought a Scout GK, for the last two season he has only conceded max 8 to 12 goals per season in all competitions, however he always gets a rating of 4-5. never had a 7 or 8. To me this means he is still a great GK but he is not doing much as my defence sorts out the issues before he is being attacked. GK would get ratings of 8 or 9 if they are constantly being bombarded and he is make many many saves...
