Cups are like Russian Roullette. I think you are up against very random opponents and Nordeus pre-programs cups to be played differently so you can never know what you are going to get.

My friend always sends out his 1-2 star players to play the cup, those that he does not play in the league and he usually does well. This season he is in the Semis with a team of reserves and subs. I say leave your team to play as they are in the cup and just hope for the best.

Anyway, if you have not won the treble in Level 2 or 3, don't make it a goal.
