Champions League Final: Buffs FC met MS Sarakham in the final of the Champions League today.
The opposition lined up in a 4-1-2-3 and Buffs withdrew their wings into a more neutral midfield role - 4-1-4-1.
The first half was a stalemate with chances either end but nothing significant, possession was equal - although Sarakham were forcing corners Buffs defensive line were rock steady.
As the second half got underway both managers made changes to the midfield personnel but stuck with the starting formations. The opener came for Sarakham in 56 minutes when Mackay pulled down Soursdey on the edge of the box (earning a yellow card) and Soursdey himself got up and curled a sweet strike in off the back post. 56 minutes gone and Buffs were 1 down. Buffs Mad signalled a change: Slim Jim Baxter and Jimmy "Jinky" Johnstone pushed forward into a more customary 4-5-1V. The equaliser in 71 minutes came from a ferocious Paul McStay strike that almost punched a hole in the net. Buffs Mad immediately ordered his lads to increase the intensity and in 75 mins Law rounded the keeper - although he ran out of space and clipped it across goal for the in-rushing McStay to claim his second. 2-1 for the Buffs.
Sarakham brought the subs on and went 4-3-3. Law was tired but still running around like a headless chicken, buzzing anywhere and everywhere, and ballooned over in 78 from close range. Buffs Mad told reserve Striker Michael Mols to warm up - which clearly had an impact on Law, as he set up Baxter with a chip that was half-volleyed from close in. It was Law's last action of the day as Mols came on - thank goodness the ref didn't allow the change earlier. ;) With 88 minutes gone and 3-1 up, Buffs let the clock tick down and thats how it finished.
\o/ Buffs FC mark their second Champions League campaign and second Final by successfully defending the trophy. \o/
Today we beats Tdr 3000 FC 2-0, who switched from illegal formation to assymmetrical 4-3-3.
The league is now over, but the final position is not confirmed yet. The CL qualifications and the promotion spots in the top half of the table are all locked.
Champions League Perfect Tactics, AC Transformer, Simpang FC, Atletico Madrid
Promotion Marissa FC, Rawan FCsozm, Tdr 3000 FC
Remember that I won't active much during next week until July 4, due to the end of year exams.
Best time to start a referral team?
Hi all, there hasn't been much to report the last couple of days - we drew our match yesterday, and won the rest. What I want to ask is whether Sunday, is the best time to start a referral team. I mean the first day of the season seems yto make sense as the best day to start one, right?
4 of the players who doesn't seems to perform and/or didn't got enough gametime, have been placed on transfer market, in order to gain finances and start to buy new players for next season.
Come on Genie!
For those who are whining about Murray, for men's singles, DIMITROV could shine on top.
Ah, think there's a language barrier here. ;) I really meant whining - which is moaning or complaining - at himself. No one whines like Murray.
Love to see Murray win again but I'd be quite happy with Dimitrov too, as a second choice. Still can't get over the idea that we use the words Scottish Tennis Slam & Champion in the same sentence.
Got into the Champions League final again this season.
Sadly for me the kick off was at a ridiculously stupid time this morning so I missed it. I lost the game 2-1 after extra time, having had 1 player sent off and 3 players injured. My opponent was present and was watched by 8 (yes 8!) other accounts all supporting him.
In many ways, the fact that he was taken to extra time and went to such lengths to try and get the victory makes me feel quite happy that he was given such a hard time. If he wants the win that badly, he can have it.
As to the league, I have two games to play. The guy who was leading the league all season drew yesterday (against the team I play today) while I won. He's already played today and won again so he is two points ahead. If I can win both my remaining games I will take the title. With that said, the guy I play today who is sat in 8th in the league has gone all out in improving his team in the last 48 hours. I assume he is trying to break into the top 7 as he has brought in several scouts and power trained. He now has quite clearly the highest Q in the league, so even though the league is in my hands I do feel he will be too strong and beat me today. A draw would put me 1 points behind with both me and the guy in 1st playing easy games tomorrow which I expect us to both win.
I certainly would have taken 2nd at the start of the season, but it does feel a bit of a let down having been dead and buried as far as winning the league goes this time last week, to having it in my own hands with two games to go, to only come up against a team that has vastly improved in the past few days. To make it worse, my first 11 are not fully fit having played the CL game that went to ET earlier, while picking up a few injurys (I won't be using packs as my core goal this season was to not do so and to grow my stockpile)
Yeeeeee
we have big images in the forum!!!
Rugby's Better won a thrilling Champions League final 4:2 on penalties today, after the opposition (aided by a late-arriving manager) scored a 90th minute equaliser to force extra time, and the score stayed 1:1 through to the 120th minute.
2nd place in the League is secured, and should the top top team slip up and draw or lose their final game tomorrow then wins tonight and tomorrow will secure a league win that 2 early-season troll draws (and one loss due to clever opponent management that I wasn't there to counter) have threatened to deny us. We beat the top team home and away, but they've otherwise had a flawless season.
Add in a 4-3 aggregate Cup semi-final exit to a team 1 level and half a star of quality rating higher than us & it's been a pretty good season.
League: Buffs FC travel to Turkey to face the bottom side but its not a Baker's Dozen for Buffs as they stall at 12-0. 3pts ahead with a 37 goal advantage....can we claim it now? :D
Denis Law scored 3; Paul McStay, Darren Fletcher & Jimmy Johnstone 2; and Graeme Souness, Jim Baxter & Alan Hansen 1 a-piece.
Shangalang FC stay 4th after a 6-0 win.
Our 6th treble!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't watch the game, and somehow NGE gives me a 0:9 win ^^Attachment 24856
Gud luck Khris!!!!!!!!!!!
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaa!!!!!
on penalties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-1 AND 4-2 IN PENALTIESSS!!!!
WE HAVE THE 8TH CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CONSECUTIVE!!!
Attachment 24857
My game has come and gone and even though I had a weaker side I battered him from start to finish, however I couldn't score and it ended a 0-0 draw.
It means going into tomorrows games I am 1 point behind the team in first. Got a far superior goal difference on him so if he loses and I draw/win then I will take first assuming I win. I fully expect both me and the guy in first to win tomorrow unless either of us were to get trolled.
Still, happy enough with second as I wasn't sure how sticking with the same team and not buying anyone would take off this season. Now I'm contemplating if I am brave enough to not bring anyone in yet again next season.
first time
We Won The Champions League
This is our 3rd season.
I've only had the chance of playing Champions League at the 2nd and 3rd season. And For My Stephanie has won the tournament both times :) League will be decided tomorrow. We lead thanks to better goaldifference. But same point as the runner up. Maybe we bring home the double this season aswell, we got knocked out in the semifinals of the Cup earlier.

Congratz to Chester FC!!! That's awesome! HOORAY!! :D
Sp BvB is winning the League, but some of my alts.. not so much. One of them was doing badly enough I decided I didn't want to promote, since I've managed to stay in 9th place. But the morale was bad so I won a couple games, but was in danger of promoting, so I put them out Saturday Night Fever, ST in goal, GK striking.. but failed to move my AMl/R off their spots... and got a riduculous result:
Attachment 24878 Attachment 24879
They did have two GK on field (neither in goal!) and 80% possession. :D
Athletico Madrid won at home this morning meaning Rugby's Better are guaranteed 2nd in the league but can't win it ahead of the last match. So CL champs, league runner up and Cup semi-finalist. We also farewelled AML/AMC Nick Delany after 103 goals in 101 games. While he struggled in his last half-season, topping the league goal scorer list in levels 4 & 5 means he'll be long remembered. This season our striker Panglima has topped the assists list, and finished in the top 5 for goals scored and average rating.
Season 1 of Perfect Tactics finishes with an unbeaten run of 23-3-0, after a sweaty 2-0 win over Rawan FCsozm.

Review
After the original manager of Perfect Tactics, dv8r, retired from managerial career six seasons ago, his legacy were left for anyone to continue. Manager pnr8555 steps up for a challenge to bring back one of the most prestigious name in Top Eleven history to its top status once more, at their original server. Under the assistant of the original and legendary Chano Petersen Snr, the club moves it base to Molde, Denmark, the birthplace of the legendary.
Perfect Tactics starts off very well with the amount of local young talents, until the investments comes on the Thursday, 6th of June, which brings in several top stars into the club, challenging through the financial situations, and avoiding curses, the players are able to perform on the pitch very well, through several opponents who are ready to challenge their unbeaten run, from Rawan FCsozm, Tdr 3000 FC, AC Transformer, Simpang FC and troll Marissa FC. Despite they slipped with three draws, they completed their quest for the unbeaten run in their first season of returning, but their bigger quest is waiting, is to win the Champions League. The treble doesn't seem to go far away from where they are here, and the manager must try hard, for the greatest achievement of the Treble, as well as the players, staffs and much more. The fans are all hoping for the great success for the club, in the quest to win all in one season.
Shangalang FC (3rd team in the Buffs franchise) finish the season with a 3-1 home win in the league gaining a CL spot next year. Shangalang were heavily inferior for most of the season but finish 3rd: 5 pts off the leader (+6Q) and 4 from 2nd (+10Q).
So 3rd in league, knocked out of CL at group Stage anda Shiny Cup from a 100% counterattacking season. :D
After another amazing season, the Crimson Tide clinched the 9th consecutive league title. Season 10 shall be the run for the second treble in the club's history. We also won our 4th Champions League Title. Back to back champions. During the cup competition we where not able to make it past the semi finals. So the hunt for the 3rd cup will continue.
Our JV team won the league for the second time and ended up 3rd in the Champions League. So our JV Team also stands after 4 season with 3 league titles, 1 Champions League title and 1 cup title.
Pretty successful season for the Crimson family. Excited for the next season to kick off.
I only saw today my team ACADEMICO D FC was eliminated from CL in group stage, but they were at the final by hosting it at there stadium.
Attachment 24918
And the full 9* players team only manage a 3:0 win against a opponent with a 5* team.
We Won The Double Again! :)
We won the last league game at home with 2-1 and secured the league title with 2p margin since the runner-up drawed in his last game of the season. We won the double this season again :)
