Cup: Celtic Rangers play it safe and settle for a 10-1 home win to sneak through 20-1 on aggregate against "We thought the match was tomorrow" FC. 3 CR players achieved 9 ratings in each leg.

Cup: Buffs FC are put out by Avantgarde after a 3-0 loss in Russia. Buffs had decided to go for it and lined up in a 3-1-2-2-2 with the Russians opting for 5-3-1-1. Buffs pressed in the first hals but couldn't break through and were hit by a sucker punch in 32 mins just as the home Manager took his seat in the dugout. At half time, with 2 goals needed but a Striker and AMC still injured, the options for Buffs Mad were limited. He urged his players to up the intensity. Sensing blood the Russians bolstered their attach and goals in 66 and 72 secured a 3-0 win. Strangely, or perhaps refreshingly, Buffs Mad was pleased with the effort. "We didn't have a failure in the team - we just didn't hit the heights that our opponents did."

Tottenham 2nd team scraped to a narrow 1-0 win away in the cup today with a early Linerker penalty and go through 3-1 on agg.

SBARATA FC

just played the 2nd leg of the CUP away, with a 2:1 win from 1st leg.
I know the opponent was 2 levels higher, but my first team had more Quality that His team, he didnt show up in any of the games, but he manage to win today by 5:1?????

I am out of the CUP with a 3:6 in agregate, its this kind of results that makes me dont belive in the way the game works. Dosent make sense.
Yes i can lose the game, but 5:1 is a bit too mutch.

Dreamhunter Franchise Update

FC Dreamhunter reached today the third round of the Cup (after a long time - since a couple of seasons it seems that this team is cursed..) with a 1-1 draw at home after winning 2-1 away. We also won the first three matches in the league and had a win and a draw in the CL. The only (small) let-down is that our new 6*Striker really does not deliver and se he is right now only used as a substitute..

FC Sakura was also successful in getting into the next Cup-Round. After a 2-0 win away we were quite self-assured, but after 51 Minutes our opponent lead 0-2. But we brought a substitute player who delivered twice within 12 minutes and so the 2-2 draw was enough. We also lead the table of our league. Yesterday we lost surprisingly the second game in the CL against a little weaker team and now Sakura has to fight against our co-Franchise-team Teresa to advance in the CL.

Teresa FC had one the first leg in the Cup 4-2 away, so the 1-2 loss today really did not matter very much. We added a new player from the Dreamhunter-squad to this team and hope that he will secure another spot for next season's CL. In the league we are 1-1-1 which is a bit disappointing, but the season is long and we will see how the team will fare. As mentioned before in the CL Teresa will need to fight to advance (so far one win and one loss).

Berkshire Utd won its first four league matches and has one win and one draw in the CL. This team is also right on track!

People are always complaining about facing opponents from higher levels, how about facing a opponent 1 level under and lose on agregate by 3:2.
Well thats what happened to me, after loosing away 2:0 i won at home 2:1.

All the teams are now out of the CUP, i think this is my worst season in the CUP, with all the 4 teams out at the end of only 2 rounds.

Tottenham 1st team won 2-0 in the league to move up to second with 3 wins and a draw, we are now 1 point behind first and play bottom tommorow!

San Marino's first game of the day was against Omer FC. Coming off a pair of impressive victories San Marino thought life today would be easier. Omer FC was par for the challenge though, drawing 1:1 with the San Marinese. Both teams played a 4-4-2 classic with San Marino's starting 11 being roughly 10+Q stronger overall. Egyptian DL Abdel Salam scored midway through the first half to take a 1:0 lead. However, was removed at the half, since the San Marinese manager wanted to give the backups some playing time, which proved costly since Scottish DL Calder, would botch a clearance which would result in a second corner for Omer FC from which the equalizer was scored.

Let's just call it a lesson learned for overlooking the competition. This draw is the on the manager for allowing player morale to slip and not providing a better win bonus. Lets hope the players bounce back later today by taking out their frustrations in the cup.

Didn't watch my cup match, but the boys cruised to an easy 7:0 victory to advance 17:0 on aggregate. That should do it for the illegal formations remaining in the cup. It seems like their is always one that manages to somehow slip to the 3rd round though.

League: Buffs FC welcomed Coyongal of Columbia but not warmly enough to let them leave with any points. Denis Law scored the only goal of the game to keep Buffs unbeaten in the league (1 draw). Not a great performance by the Buffs but the points are on the board so they move on.

League: Celtic Rangers move 4th after a 3-1 home win. This year a CL place will probably be the best this 3* side can hope for with 3 4* sides above them - but they'll fight for more. Regrettably they picked up 2 more injuries which, added to the 1 in the Cup 2nd leg, now takes the Casualty list to 5.

And for last our GK Beugelsdijk reached today the 150 games played in the LEAGUE.
