18 y.o. gens do exist, any day of the Season, just there aren't many of them and often as not it's a huge bidding war to get them. I usually wait until a few days in before I start shopping for new players.

I do think that you should keep guys if they have performed will, no matter age.. or stars.

My golden oldie came with my Team though:

I just bought a 4* 18 year old Nord generated Center Mid on the market last night. He's got an 83 rating, and a good training rate of 21.8, with no special ability.

I paid too much, but it wasn't 2-3 times the player's market value like I've seen some do lately.

What do you mean by training rate? Is that hard or normal? For which training exercise?

My golden oldie Özil is still kicking butt while aging gracefully. He's now on 597 appearances (as of my last game today) and 357 goals for AC Arsenal. Way to go son.

My fav golden oldie just played his 600th game for AC Arsenal. He'll be 32 next season. Still going strong though.

My golden oldie MESUT ÖZIL is 33 today and is still going strong. 6 stars now. After 381 goals in 652 appearances for Ac Arsenal,he's got another 2 seasons left in him. This is his 16th season with AC Arsenal.
