    Special ability

    Hi people.

I have a question. Did special abilities are required to our players? Maybe I do mistake thinkig they are? Look I just buy a player. He have Q69. On my lvl one from 6*. He is without SA and his value is 31M. The best value scout players are 27M. Do I should invest all points to SA or to gettin more *?. Did SA make difference?

I prefer to buy scouts as it you get a player with an SA ready to use, training one takes far too long!, yes it costs 50T but at least you got it there and then, I trained a SA once and it took a whole season or more! Way too long for me.

I always do like you. But now if I have good player to training, what you will choose? Put skill to SA or just for another *? SA make really different?

I put skill points to the players skills, look at it this way, you decide to train a special ability and it takes you a season or more, you get promoted and that player loses a star and has gained a year of age!, during the season you train him his skill quality has stayed the same as all his cones are used on a training the SA! so that player is falling behind on the rest as you go through the season!, if you do get promoted and finaly get his SA is your player still good enough to be in your team?, I say this because a player with Q53 SA against a player with Q 55 could be weaker!, you also need to think that you need to use an 18/19 year old to do it and hope he is a fast trainer! a NORGEN if you can get one!, as I said I did it once never again.
    x 17 x 5 x 1

    Double winners x 5 , Treble x 1 ...Perfect league wins 26/26 x 1 (L8).
Every comment I make on this forum is based on my own experiences and so should be taken as such!.

Agreed, I too have done it once, took a season and a half. Never again, buying one with SA saves more time.
Then again, I would usually just focus on my Defending SA: Aerial, Wall... though the SA doesn't always proof working. Perhaps it just in my mind.

Now I know which way I should choose. Last month I train my youngest player in SA but after that he was behind and I sold him.

Havent had any issues getting 50+75 cones in a season to train SA and increase a star at least. In a season you can probably do 2 stars and an SA/New Position if you train moderately. What you can do is collect 130 cones then decide what you want to do. If you decide on SA, make sure he is already competent in playing that role. If not an SA will not help him be better. eg. if he is already good in taking freekicks then train him fk SA. It will increase his conversion rate.
